Love it. Thank you for sharing-and for not making it spotless like so many try to do. There's only so much organizing you can have with a big family. I have a sign in our living room "excuse the mess, the kids are making are making memories".
I thought it was pretty clean considering they are crampacked into a small house for 12 people. So what if it's kinda cluttered. No ones perfect and, this poor mamma IDK how she even has time 2 clean with all those young ones! It wasn't nasty. The floors were clean. If you had 12 people in a a tighthouse you accumulate lots of stuff lol. There's 4 of us and,our eldest is almost 18 and, that girl accumulates lots of things. As a matter of fact she's home on Fridays. So tommorw her and,i are going through some clothes and, donating stuff her and, sister have outgrown!
I can totally relate we are a family of 11 too but soon to be 12 since my mom is expecting. there is its own ups and downs to having a big family and so many siblings.😀
I'm the youngest of 7 and when most of my older siblings were teenagers it was the hardest time on all of us. My oldest sister is 16 years older than me so she was moved out by the time I was two. But we also had a stepbrother. I shared a room with three of my sisters. And my two brothers and stepbrother shared a room. There was one bathroom. Total chaos in the mornings lol a preteen girl, a 14 year old, and a 16 year old all sharing a closet. There were many fights over clothes. One of sisters ended up moving into a different room in the house with one of my brothers just to get away from us 😂 I wouldn't say we hated each other in that time period but we were desperate for space. Our relationships are much better now that we live in our own homes lol
I come from a family of eight and our house is CONSISTENTLY messy. It's ridiculous. Not so bad though that all my siblings are boys so we don't have to worry too much about the toys on the inside, just the things on the outside. Can I also say that our laundry is literally always up to my shins everytime I walk in there? And that's with my mum putting three loads on every day. Oh my gosh, and the noise. Igt's impossible to get piece and quiet! You're doing amazing for all the kids you have. Keep it up you super mum! Much love from Adelaide x
Thank god ...we saw how a house with so many kids actually looks like!!!... i watch the houses of other big families and they were so clean and so tidy that it was so not true!!!! Your house is perfect!!!!
I'm impressed you're able to fit 12 people in that house! Well done mum. I'm also very very surprised to see all the tots sitting so nicely watching TV.
Love the idea of them all having a desk and their own individual space 😊 what a sweet thing to do. I know it's clutter but by god I find it hard to keep mine tidy with 2 girls n 2 dogs... fair play to u x
How do you get them to sit there so quietly watching tv? Only in my dreams would mine ever do that lol They're the most gorgeous kids, they're a credit to you xx
you should invest in some sleep outs for the older kids, they are small, cheap, and hook up to mains electricity. have a screen door and main door, and they sit out the back of a house, and are not that big but perfects when u need more rooms
To free up space I put all my DVDs games and cd's ect into disk storage boxes I got off eBay it made so much room getting rid of all the cases they come in 👍🏻🙂
Absolutely love the Malm IKEA looking cupboards infront of the bunks with the cube cupboards ontop. how are they extra supported down? I'm trying to figure out storage ideas for my household here. number 4 is on the way and we only have access to 2 bedrooms in our 4 bedroom house until we reno up. Which let's face it, that's years off. Sounds silly but can you do a video on how you do your clothes on a wet day (didn't see a dryer and we got rid of our dryer a few months ago)? I noticed you didn't have one either unless those are the type of washing machines that dry too after the washing cycle is done.
The draws and bookcases we attached with a l brackets So the bookcase is attached to the draw and bed and the draws to the bed. We have 2 big airers that we dry the clothes on in front of the heater. We do have a dryer but i only use it for towels and if we really need to dry something.
I'd like to advise you to Andrea Mills channel. She's expecting her 9th child, they're living in a tiny house with only 1 bathroom (!) - but her system for 'stuff and things' is awesome!
Hmmm. I will say that although the house is way too cluttered for my liking; it isn't dirty. It's just a lot of stuff that goes with that many people in the house. I'm sure she is doing the best she can and that's all that should be asked of her. As for how quiet the kids are I don't see anything out of the ordinary with that. Although I was raised with just myself and my sister whenever the cousins came over it was easily 20+ kids. I think we underestimate children and their ability to follow instructions. We sat down and were quiet because that was required of us especially when my grandmother was baking her famous red velvet cake. t's not rocket science to get children to do as they are told. You tell them to do something and if they don't there is consequences for their actions. It's about consistency and follow through. Them sitting down and being quiet goes back to good parenting that I and so many other grew up with. Today, parents in one hand think their kids are just little geniuses while also dumbing down when they say, little Tommy just can't still for that long. Little Tommy can sit still just fine if you give him your expectations and follow through.
Great tour! I have to ask... how the heck you get ALL your kids to sit quiet that long and watch a show together with no fighting or crying?!?! lol I have a 3 yr old & 5 yr old and I celebrate those moments :D
I'm the youngest of 5. Our house never looked that chaotic. We were expected to always clean up after ourselves, and keep everything in it's place. A mess isn't inevitable, no matter how many people there are.
Our current house is smaller, we don't really have a house tour here. I did an empty one but we had no electricity so it's super dark. We are moving hopefully soon if we can find a house to a much bigger house.
When giving house tours....shouldn't the house be clean? I feel like I'm watching an episode of hoarders. I don't care for excuses like "Well its a small place" "There's X number of kids" There was stuff messy all over from the second this video started.
mootsay I didn’t see anything that wasn’t needed. Shoes for 12 people adds up as do clothes. Work space for school all had clear desks. Floors were clean. No dirt and so on
i have 10 siblings, i am the fourth oldest and I'm 13 out house is 4 stories including a basement and so the basement has the game room a play room and another family room the main floor has the kitchen master bedroom family room formal living room laundry room and dining room the second floor has the little kids room (10 and under) as well as a hangout room and the third floor has the older kids rooms (me and my 3 older siblings) as well as another hangout room and all the basement has 1 full bathroom the first floor has 1 full bathroom one master bedroom on sweet and 5 half bathrooms and the 2nd floor has 5 bedrooms and 5 full bathrooms and 1 half bathroom and the third floor had 4 bedrooms and 4 full bathrooms we also have a guest house with 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms and one half bathroom and my house if REALLY organized but we also have a maid so i can see how your big family can get cluttered and crammed in that house:)
Kaitlin Lang not really messy just not to organized but I mean what's more important organizing your house or spending time with your kids and having a good day? I have only two kids and my house is not all ways organized because feeding my children and playing with them is more important
Audra Hollis I live in a small space and only have two kids. Unless you have enough money for the right organization tools it’s next to impossible. My room is a cluttered mess and there is nothing I can do about it. I got a stock pile of my medical supplies, work cloths regular clothes and pjs. Then hubbies stuff needs to fit and his stuff is bulky. He has his work stuff as well which covers our mud room which is very small. I feel her struggle. We have one linen cupboard that has our linen and board games. I did custom make the closets though cause hubby does construction and turned it into double half hanging with shelves so much more storage. We put books in there. Small bin to donate when out grown, a mammoth box bin and craft type presents and personal stuff. I then bought the Walmart cube shelves and ikea tall ones and baskets put all toys in there. One in each room. My daughter has a lot of sport clothes so she has one bin with clothing for sports where my son has less clothes so they all fit in his dresser and hang dress shirts. Then he has a book shelve. Kind of cluttered but he loves his books. My daughter goes on her shelf in her closet. Then I bought under bed storage bins for clothing for next season and stuff I find on sale and larger toys go under that. I also turned an unfinished basement into a playroom and I recently got rid of all toys not played with. So yes they do have room for improvement like that. But I feel her pain. It’s hard. She also makes all her kids beds and such. I make my kids do that and put away dishes and clean guinea pigs cages and feed them so mine help a bit more so I have more time to declutter. But then again I work full time so have very limited time. I do agree if it was me I would get rid of most of the toys. Put all things in bins. All LEGO goes in two bins for us. A girls bin and a boys bin. Then I keep all the books in those bins. Blocks all in one bin. All board books go in my sons room and my daughter keeps hers. All cars in one bin and so on. I would probably suggest storage bins in the rooms and closets to hold only clothing. Then in living room with the desks remove the desks get the 9 cube Walmart bins. Fill and label with the toys and then buy the ikea very slim desks that have a worktop and then some storage drawers to put the stuff so it doesn’t clutter the tops. Various options but find practical ones not the ones that waste space and drawers instead of just legs to help with the stuff. That may help but it’s so hard for me with 2. I can’t imagine 10
It's so cute how they all sit so still and quiet watching tv bless them 👏🏻🙂
i was thinking the same!

Treva P didn’t look small to me!
3 kids in each room and you dont think it looks small?
I can totally relate we are a family of 11 too but soon to be 12 since my mom is expecting. there is its own ups and downs to having a big family and so many siblings.😀
Your house is actually clean compare to my house and I only have 3 children. Good job mommy ❤️❤️
I think your home and family are beautiful! I love when they all said hi together. Keep up the good work mamma
What do you plan to do when they are all teenagers and need their own space?
I've noticed that most couples who have kids in the double digits do not seem to consider their existing children's individual needs.
summertime189 yes they will. They are all about a year apart.
Not all children move out and what if money is an issue?
I'm the youngest of 7 and when most of my older siblings were teenagers it was the hardest time on all of us. My oldest sister is 16 years older than me so she was moved out by the time I was two. Most people eventually buy larger homes plus did you consider it may be a rental time being

Just heared your husband on the radio wow guys fantastic job!!
Hi just found your channel u have some VERY well behaved children hope everyone is doing well I've been binge watching your videos 🙏😇

We're in a different house now but we do rent so we aren't allowed to have those sort of things.
To free up space I put all my DVDs games and cd's ect into disk storage boxes I got off eBay it made so much room getting rid of all the cases they come in 👍🏻🙂
Same. Boxes take up so much space!

So do I :-)
Andrea Mills has incredible organization skills.
How sad that Andrea is no longer with us 😥 still very hard to believe

I love their videos. They seem so normal compared to the fake Duggar’s.
What do you do if over 2 people have to use the bathroom at the same time?
Do you ever get your laundry done? I admire you don't think I could do it
Love your family! You have a great home.
Your house is far too cluttered. It gave me anxiety just watching 🤯😱
its called having more than 2 kids.
I'm the youngest of 5. Our house never looked that chaotic. We were expected to always clean up after ourselves, and keep everything in it's place. A mess isn't inevitable, no matter how many people there are.
I really like those desks where did you get them?
I got the desks from office works.
Do u have a current house tour? And is this house bigger than your current one?
Our current house is smaller, we don't really have a house tour here. I did an empty one but we had no electricity so it's super dark. We are moving hopefully soon if we can find a house to a much bigger house.
@@Yestheyareallours awe cool. Thanks. Wish you the best of luck with the move
6:08 so cute! what a lovely family! the eldest doesn't seem too enthralled with sesame Street tho, lol : )

mootsay I get what you are saying but although I couldn’t live like this, it’s their house and up to them how they live really
mootsay I didn’t see anything that wasn’t needed. Shoes for 12 people adds up as do clothes. Work space for school all had clear desks. Floors were clean. No dirt and so on
I loved this home from the very beginning of the video. I do think it could do with a bit more organising.
Merry Christmas

What a mess
yeah okay, mind your own business.
I would love to see you having a spotless home with 10 Kids. Of course its a mess. Its always a mess with little kids, if you cant afford a Cleaner!!!
Kaitlin Lang not really messy just not to organized but I mean what's more important organizing your house or spending time with your kids and having a good day? I have only two kids and my house is not all ways organized because feeding my children and playing with them is more important
Kaitlin Lang for a family of 12? It looks immaculate !
Kaitlin Lang excactly
Tfs 🌹
my house is like that but more clean and more space
I notice you have four study areas for the boys but none for any of the girls... are the four boys the oldest of the kids...
Kaitlyn has a desk in her room. The 2 other girls are 4 and 1 so don't need a desk at the moment.
unassisted birth?
RUclips video?
I'd be so embarrassed to show the world my home looking like this. My friend has 11 kids and her home is clutter free and clean.
instead of filming..try getting your kids involved in decluttering that mess
Audra Hollis this is their new house
Watch "Double Story Dream House Tour for a Family of 12" on RUclips
ruclips.net/video/hrdg77TSS7A/видео.html
Audra Hollis so get rid of their shoes so they can’t want or clothing? Not much they can do
They don't need to get rid of their clothing or shoes but they DO NEED a way to organize themselves and run a more efficient household

sounds like you have every tool possible to keep clutter at bay
