Nice explanation. But when you mix the donor RBC and donor plasma, you can centrifuge it at the rate of 35000 rpm and check it there is clumping or not. This will safe time in case of blood transfusion.
what is this crossmatch called? Is it saline at room temperature? Also, I did not see when you incubated the mikxture of donor and receipient samples. Is that step not required? Well done for a clean and audible video
Why use water to rinse the pipettes? Water can haemolyse the red cells. We want the cells washed and not haemolysed. Use normal saline for rinsing of pipettes please
major crossmatch uses patient serum against donor red cell, minor uses patient(recipient) red cell against donor plasma for full crossmatch bt youre are using patient plasma against donor red cell, what method is this, emergency?
I came to this video looking for this comment. Ratio of red cell suspension to plasma should be 1:2. If she uses 2 drops of cell suspension, she should have used 4 drops of patients plasma
Thank you so much for the video 🎉🎉 We were taught theoretically, now I understand better
I see you course mate😁
@okonkwosunday3665 😂😂 Hey
Nice one!
I look forward to seeing more of your videos
thank you for your time in making this great video.
Thank u so much…it was so easy understanding it
Nice to see you in the real action of +matching
Waooooo so much impressed
Waoooooooh is really clear and is understood
Awesome..u make it very easy

How do you check it after centrifuging?

Good job
More videos please
Use serum and not plasma
Use four tube method
Also regroup the donor .
Are doing a major or minor cross matching

Thank you soo much,,,finally🙂

Please do a video on ESR and G6PD
Why do we wash the cells ?
What percent of cell suspension is this?
Where's your laboratory located?
Thank you brown
Nice work there. Are you a haema major?
Thank you
Why washing 3 times
U must add four drops from the serum to avoid prozon phonemna

In a case of emergency is there a faster way to do crossmatching
Incase of an emergency,an O negative blood is given.
In case of emergency, just do the saline at room temperature only
Please what is the meaning of haemolysis?
Breakdown of red blood cells
Addition of chemical majorly water to break down red blood cell.
Thanks
U must let the reaction happen at 37c
Thank you MLS
use serum not plasma
