Thank you for your support! You would need to recheck the specimen and segment used for the XM. If you can't find any discrepancies you may need to go back and find what antibody was missed. You could also phenotype the recipient.
If the patient has been to tour facility before and they have no family or personal history of clinically significant antibodies then you do not have to do a XM at all three phases of tube testing. If your institution uses gel, this becomes a moot point as gel only reports out AHG phase.
hi. Thanks for this video. I am writing a book on compatibility testing. I was wondering if you would be available to contribute. Kindly share your email for more detail.
Great video, keep it up. When an unexpected agglutination during a crossmatch is met, what should I one do?
Thank you for your support!

Great video!
Hi is there any benefit in doing an AHG XM on a patient with a negative ABSC and no hx of transfusion or antibodies?
You don't have to do one unless there is a suspected issue (newly forming antibody if there was no history and the screen was negative).
great video
Thank u somuch!
Why does not having a patient history mean you don't have to go through the 37, AHG and CC phases?

Great video can you make one on antigen typing
Thank you! I only have a few antigen typing reagents. I will think about how to make that happen.
It is major cross matching , and where is minor cross matching ...??🤔
