When I was a kid we never had a real tree! We had a silver one that had a light that spun colors. The light melted. I am 62 and I still remember that. When I got married I got a real tree every year! We have tree farms right down the road I love picking them out!

That’s so cute. I love the smell of real trees too. We seldom get them because we tend to travel somewhere else for Christmas. It’s a nice tradition though. I love that the girls have one on their room too. Regarding the leaning tree, you might be able to adjust it in the base or saw off a bit from the bottom.

We put our Christmas tree & decorations up the weekend before Thanksgiving this year. Since 2020 has been more stressful for many reasons. We usually do it right after Thanksgiving but it has been nice & relaxing to enjoy the pretty colored lights! My teenage daughter has a 4 ft purple tree in her room she decorates each year.

We always had a Christmas tree in our boys room. The youngest who was 13 years after the 2nd boy had a fiber optic tree. He loved decorating it. The older 2, 18 & 14 thought they were too old for trees in there rooms. We couldn't have found a space anyway
