Bros, I'm so glad you got your doggo back. Can't even imagine how distraught you would have been at the time, & obviously missing him terribly over those 2 years! I have a 2yo Cavapoo (we call them Cavoodles here in Australia) who is microchipped, but pray that he never goes missing. This has gotta be the BEST Xmas present for you guys ever I'd imagine. I'm sure Corduroy is so relieved to be back with his family. Thank God for doggo microchips! 🐶❤
My Scottish terrier got picked up by a woman in Atoka, Oklahoka who took him on a road trip to Missouri with her for a week then back down to Texas where she lived. It was crazy anyone would take someone else’s dog who was sitting in driveway but she stopped on her way home back to TX and left a note saying she wondered if the dog was her and to call her if so. 🥴🤔 Got him back but I had to drive to TX to pick him up. I think she wanted to keep him and she kept commenting how her family in Missouri wanted to keep him. Glad you got your dog back!
My parents sold a dog we had when I was a kid. It just was too much trouble for them with us at school and whatever. I was crushed, but what can a child do? A year later Animal Control called, they had him. Apparently he was still wearing the rabies tag we put on him. The new owners never even bothered to update it or put an ID on him. We got him back, but still had the same problems and my parents didn’t want him. Found a great super home by sheer luck though, got to see him periodically in his new home. Worked out well.

Dog probably got tired of walking on cement and wanted a rural area to run free. Also, next time, adopt a dog, having a designer Golden Doodle breed might make you feel cool, but in reality it will make your neighbors despise you.
