    As a novice broiler farmer from the caribbean, anytime I run into problems and I come on youtube, I always get the right video from you and I am very grateful for that. I always thought I had to change the litter out with every batch, but then I didn't know instead of occasionally topping up shavings, I could've topped up from the start and manually turn the litter up. It is alot of work to remove the litter and costly to replace. But I'm having major problem with the beetles, darkling beetles, as how I have my coop sectioned into 3 so that I can rotate batches of 100 -120 at a time in each section, small scale operation.

  • @ltchanaz
    @ltchanaz Год назад +3

    Thanks for the great tips and information. I think for a well ventilated house like yours it would work for older hens or warmer climates but if you use the house for brooding and need to keep the heat inside you are caught between ventilation or keeping the heat. The challenge arises where the area around the Bell Drinkers gets wet which leads to an ammonia build up and another problem apart from Ammonia is also dust build up which naturally occurs and leads to respiratory infections as the shavings breakdown so replacing shavings becomes your only option if you want to reduce ammonia and heat which implies poor ventilation which is the case in most brooding houses.

    Hi Dr. Daniel.
    I was listening to you on one of your videos addressing the state of discontent that you are experiencing. I just want to be clear that to be ambitious is fine but to be too ambitious can leads to a downfall. Success is not a measures by the amount of degrees one have hanging on the wall or how fat your bank account is. all these things can lead into unhappiness. The most important thing is peace of mind mark you I am not saying that you should not leverage you ability but remember be content in whatever situation you find yourself and you will enjoy life better .Remember lucifer was the brightest angel but he fails.
    I am not trying to put a damper on your progress but without peace of mind your are going to be miserable and not contented with what the Lord has done for you. So listen up it not all about passion because it comes and go as passion is fleshly. On the converse do what you are doing a watch God's Spirit work wonders in you life Be propeller by the leading of the Spirit..
