I don't understand how more guys don't get killed or injured in midgets, tbh. For not carrying a fuckton of speed, it seems like the slightest error can result in doing half a dozen end-over-end somersaults across the track.

Safe sport for the most part.... I used to drive 600cc mini sprints but on a relatively small track. A lot of variables when it comes to risk-factor when it comes to midgets and sprint cars. Track size......the larger the track obviously the greater the speed and more risk. Also the type of track, for example, midgets on asphalt track is comparatively way more dangerous. Regarding end-over-end, several minor "hits" is always way better than just slamming into a wall (one BIG hit). End-over-end dissipates your carried energy way more smoothly..... it "looks" more violent than it usually is.

Better protection than the old days, roll cages. 1.54 - ruclips.net/video/fczX7VJbtkE/видео.html also refer to 4.14.

That first one should get that track closed. You can't leave the green or even yellow on with a car on it's lid. They just left it green.
