In UG course you can take following major in IISc.
Physics, chemistry, biology, mathmatics and materials engineering. You can get admission through KVPY, JEE main and JEE advanced. Good luck 👍

It varies from department to department and year to year. Please check previous year cut off in my "admission in IISc" discription.

All the students get single bed room in IISc.
Sir I am getting 12718 rank in jee mains, I am an EWS candidate,so can I get into iisc.
Will u have time to go to gym , play with ur friends ( badminton , tennis ) , take a walk around , or just high amount of studies is there , pls tell :)
Work pressure is there but students get time for extra carucular activities too

@@PhDlifeatIISc My son will be joining IISc in April. He is doing M Tech in AI. First semester is now completed which was through online. He is physically challenged student. We need to know whether there is any specific hostel facility for PH student.
@@SM11724 As per my knowledge there is no separate hostel for physically challenged students. But in each hostel there are rooms on ground floor dedicated for them.

Officially (5+2 = 7) years but it all depends on many things such as how students works, Professors and project assigned. Some students finishes before time and some takes more time. Good luck 👍

Boys are not allowed to girls hostel. But I will ask some of my friends to make a video of girl hostel. New girls hostel (NGH) is exactly same as NBH. There is a newly constructed hostel (Jindal) for girls that hostel is even better than NGH. Gymkhana is same for both boys and girls.

Hii Paritosh, IISc hostel office is allotting hostel randomly. I have seen most of the UG student living in N - block, which is also a good hostel. But if you request hostel office for NBH, they will allot you hostel of your choice 👍.
