The lead guitarist is friggin' AWESOME! Sounds just like Richie Blackmore and actually resembles how Richie looked back in the 70's. Well done.

Yes, he does favor Blackmore in his looks and does a really good job of capturing his playing style.
Only after listening to this vocalist do you begin to understand the greatness of Gillan.
I actually had that confirmed when I heard him sing the part of "Jesus Christ, Superstar" on the original album.
....and this here is NOT a bad singer. He's good .... but it is a hard job to be compared to Jes .... Ian Gillan on his top!
Same with Blackmore. This guy struggled to play those riffs.
He was actually spot on this guy, the whole band is very good.

Great rendition. People sometimes forget that the guitar and organ solos were improvised on the spot in Purple. Few cover bands if any could come up with anything as inspiring as Purple did for one night only in July in Japan, 1972.

Excellent when i was a wee lad we would listen to deep purple made in japan for hours over and over smoking weed foing lsd . Its hard to believe we all stayed safe through those days. Theres no doubt God had a hand in keeping us safe. We were such meatheads great work guys

Brilliant! My God, that solo is such a demanding gymnastic. No wonder only few dare to play it like that. This was better than seeing the real DP now days, saw them in 2011 and 2017.
I don't think that group has existed since 1993 when Blackmore was overcome by his delusions of grandeur, and left for good.
He may still be trying to get over that someone painted "Clapton is god" on a wall, but never did that for him..
@@jhandle4196 You really self indulged in that little fantasy of yours. Lets face it, DP was Ritchie... the most important ingredient. Without him DP would've been just another Episode Six, Trapeze, or so type of a band, local and long forgotten. Cheers!
