Thanks for sharing! I started getting the Brazilian Blow Dry for my stylist about 2 years ago and it really changed my life. But it's SO costly! I am tempted to try it following your video but have NEVER used a flattening iron so I am incredibly intimidated! So appreciate you sharing so thoroughly. I may get up the nerve to try it myself!! Thanks!
I've undergone this type of treatment many times while living in Brazil, and I've learned to always try it on a small section of your hair first. This way, if you have any adverse reactions, you won't risk damaging all your hair. Trust me, I once bought a brand called "Capecellin," it caused my hair to fall out and become burnt as if I were next to a fire. So, always do a patch test before applying it to your entire head. Pay attention to your hair and scalp; if your hair appears burnt, hardened, or becomes elastic upon contact with water, take caution. Sometimes, your hair will have a reaction with certain types of hair dye that you applied before, so it is important you give a space between chemicals. Thanks for the video! I'll try it on a small section of my hair. I hope it turns out okay.
what a trooper you are ! I just watched this video and the chemical peel one ( I love Platinum skin peels myself ) and you have 4 children! you are amazing really :)
I've brought a kit but different brand. Best to use sulphate free shampoo and conditioner for aftercare. My instructions also say not to wear hair accessories for 48hrs after as it can leave permanent marks in your hair. Thanks for the video. I feel a lot more comfortable doing it myself now. 😊
My second time doing the treatment and I committed a mistake the first time. I didn't use enough product for the 2nd step. If you are doing first time you are going to need more product too. Specially if you have a lot of hair like me. You should use enough product to wet your hair, don't save too much because the results will not be that good. Thanks for sharing this knowledge with us all and I love the video! Great tips!
Thank you for the thorough review and detailed step!. I am going to get a buddy to help me during the process...I can just feel my arms getting tired and my eyes burning watching this! lol! But it may be just worth it because I am soooo done paying $500 to my salon.
Hello! Thank you so much for this video! I noticed when you explained about the flat iron straightening process you said be really careful like make sure you straighten the whole strand properly because if it gets kinked then its gonna stay kinked for the time it stays on your hair. My question about that is, what if I used a waving iron instead of a specifically flat iron would my hair stay in that wavy shape rather than straight? Thing is I personally don’t like straight hair on my face I like it to be a little voluminous straight just doesn’t look good on me 😆. So I was wondering if I could do that! Thank you again!! -Mary
Thank you, i just ordered the same product, but i just wanted to know how’s the process to make it better. Looking forward to see more videos. Keep going
I have 2 questions that hopefully someone can help with - It looks like you are ironing about half an inch from your roots, do you just not need much smoothing there? Also, I read a note saying not to clip the hair up after ironing or it would create kinks. You clip yours out of the way, but it doesn’t seem like it kinked your hair. Thanks for showing so much detail!
Hi just need to know the results after you shampoo your hair because most of these treatments always it’s fantastic before shampoo but after you wash it with shampoo it back to feeze again it happened to me many times and I just damaged my hair but I just really need to know what's happened to your hair after you shampoos your hair still was straight and smooth? please let me know are you happy with the product?
I tried this just today. The moment i applied it to my hair, it already have a strong smell and when i flat iron my hair i already coughing and my eyes burned. I rinse my hair right away with hair mask. But when i blow it dry it looks pretty. I suggest that you need to do the process in open area like backyard. Dont do it on your bathroom you will regret it.
@@THEDIYLAB-x1v wait so u don’t wash the product off afterwards ? Just wash once and straighten at the end that’s so much better tbh. ALSOOO how many days do U have to wait till u wash ur hair again ?
Im a hairstylist, keratin will never damage the hair ! You have to use titanium flat iron depends the health and texture of the hair you set the temperature ( i do mine 450 ) avoid touching roots , scalp otherwise your hair fall out and causing irritation on the scalp
@@lesvilla1671 does that mean make sure the product doesn’t touch your scalp? I’m super nervous to do this to myself I’ve never had a BBO so I’m not sure what to expect especially doing it on myself. How far from the root should I straighten? Do you recommend lower setting for first time use?
Does it have ammonia? In argentina we used to have something similar years ago but it was banned because the fumes were so toxic. The hair would remain gorgeous for months but the process and the after days were a pain to the eyes. Please take care :)
Formaldehyde... Extremely toxic. Banned in many places. I love the result but I'm not open to cancer causing chemicals... And inhaling it to boot... Yikes
Thanks alot for this video coz at salon it cost me about 250$ .. but I just need to know after using no.2 treatment did u wash your hair with the shampoo or not ?
$200?! I used to get my keratin treatment done in Mexico for $20, I came back to the states and I also ordered the DIY Keratin instead! 😅 TY for the video! Update: My eyes burned, I cried, I’m finished, I love it! 💕

What shampoo and conditioner do you use while you have this treatment in?
Hi. I plan to do this next week. How long do you leave the product in your hair before you dry it and after you dry it?

Very nice thank you for doing this video. What if I want my hair full after the treatment? Or if I want it to curl? Will it hold?

Most definitely do this in an open area and with a fan. Because of the audio I couldn't go outside or use a fan. It definitly burned my eyes

How long they took to dry on there own
Do you have a link to where you bought the kit
Look in the description details
After #1 do you dry your hair or apply #2 wet / damp
The directions say dry your hair to 80% before treatment #2 but it looks like hers was fully dry
How often can you do the treatment without damaging your hair?

Your instructions are impeccable. TY. 😁
Cool! I can buy this without a cosmetic license?!
Yes you can!
I’m about to do it but I will definitely use a mask
How did it go?
How many bottles did you need of each? I ordered some but I'm not sure it'll be enough..
I am doing this now, omg the smell is so strong and hurt my throat!
After flat iron , i just rinse it out with water and put the hair mask or i have to use the shampoo??
shampoo is only at the beginning
After apply step 2 u didn't rinse hair?

Possibly. It is very toxic. I only do it a couple times a year so I'm hoping it isn't doing any long term damage. :o)

No, just treatment #3.
Can i color my hair first then do this? (In the same day)
On the instructions it tells you to edit 2 weeks
Nice video
How many treatments do you get out of the small bottle?
Only one
Please open the windows.
I definitely do when not filming. I just couldn't with the outside noise. Thanks for the tip though :o)

What keratin did you order?
Can you please answer questions? Or…
This was 11 months ago. But PLEASE NEXT TIME OPEN THE WINDOW. You can do a voice over for your health and safety 🥰
i have so many questions.
The fumes are no lie
Hi I just ordered this product after watching your video lastnight. How many treatments do you get from one bottle?
It depends on how thick and long your hair is. I get only one use, but if my hair was shorter I could get two :o)
@@THEDIYLAB-x1v awesome thank you so much I can't wait to try it😊
