Totally agree. If I don’t thirst them, I always seem to die and they get revived. You’re awesome Average! Keep it up!

Thirsting means you lack the confidence to complete the kill. This could be because strategically, you won't have the opportunity (enemy far away moving behind cover), OR as is usually the case, you or your team lack the skills to finish the rest of the team. People that use words like "always" or "never" with this game are the same ones that complain when they die because the enemy "did something dumb" that could not be expected. Every moment is unique and there is no one set of rules that apply. There are many strategic reasons to leave enemies knocked. If you can't think of any, and the only thing that matters to you is your K/D or your ADR, you'll never be great at this game.

Id say you don't know what you're talking about, but you've already displayed that boldly. You should thirst all knocks when able, leaving them crawling allows them to ping you or tell their team your movements and other information you don't want them to have. Anyone can wipe an entire squad when they have better positioning, as long as you can actually hit your shots. You claim there are several reasons to leave knocks alive, but I rebuttal by saying there's a plethora of reasons to thirst them. You may be hurt and need meds or heals. You may be low on ammo. You might need smokes or frags or a flash bang. Maybe you just wanna make sure they can't give away your move to fresh cover for a better angle on the rest of the team. Don't act like you know better than everyone else, there's a damn good reason you take them out of the fight completely. Your comment literally makes you a hypocrite and jackass.

Thirsting in the 1st 5 minutes of the match is poor sportsmanship, and anyone who thirsts so early into the game loses my interst.

@@RobeonMewI'm going to redact my previous comment and replace it with this. If you think thirsting in the first five minutes of the match is poor sportsmanship, id hate to see what you think about a first round knock out in boxing. It's the whole point of the game, you don't win by letting someone live, that's how you get hunted down and killed like a sitting duck. I've had some knock me and leave me in match, I got rezed and did that very thing and hunted him down only to humiliate him by not only teabagging him, but panning him to death for the kill. This game is literally all about the kill or else it would be named Animal Crossing. The whole point is to thirst your opponent and get kills, not to show mercy to your opponent.

Does thirsting mean you down the enemy in order to focus on his teammates whom are capable of downing you? If so that sounds like basic common sense. In real life if I down a guy I’m no longer going to focus on him. I’m going to focus on his other wanna be thug buddies if any. Folks use terms and make up rules to keep intelligent folks at bay and that’s really lame.
