- #ilovervlife #staugustinebeach #historicstaugustine This was our last week at St. Augustine Beach and Ocean Grove RV Resort, and this was one special. All the kids came this week and the J’s took over the beach. That’s right the J’s - Along with me (Jerry) and Joan, we had Joel, Julie, Josh, Jake, Jaymi Kate and Jilli Beth all at the campground.

Jerry, you might be the happiest RV'ing RUclipsr on the Internet, there might be a happier one but damn if I've seen them. Always want to go wherever you went after watching your recording, thanks!
Thanks a bunch Augie. Great to hear you're enjoying our channel.
Lovely family! I always enjoy your videos and smiling face. Very nice area I put it on my list of places to go!
Thanks a bunch Melinda. One of our favorites.
Jerry, I know you have much more kitchen storage in your 5th wheel than we do in our 26 ft. travel trailer, but we would love it if you'd post a video on kitchen storage ideas to maximize space. Thank you, and blessings to you and your family!
Great tip. Future video.
Great family fun! It’s a true blessing that you have a family that can all get together and enjoy each other. I enjoy each and every video that you share. Keep enjoying life!
Thanks so much and so glad you're enjoying our RV life adventures. It truly is a blessing to have the gift of family time. We had a great time.
Really a neat place to visit.
That it is!
If you go back to St George St., the Spanish Bakery is behind the fudge shop. The Picadillo and Empanada's are awesome. We have been going there for years. Enjoy!!
Definitely.
What a beautiful family and blessed time together. Thank you for sharing.
Great bunch Sallieanne.
Jerry.. Oh my. Visiting Florida without a facemask is like going to a brothel without a condom. But I always love your videos. Just be safe(r).
Thanks. Great to hear you're enjoying the channel.
We live in Naples, Florida full time. We are really enjoying your channel a lot. I like your style of videos. Those are some beautiful beaches in St. Augustine. I agree with the beaches being more beautiful without the tall condos sprouting up. What a busy town for being 10-15% closed, and on a Tuesday. What a great time had by all. Awesome video, thanks for sharing.
Thanks a bunch. The whole month was a little hit or miss as to what maybe open or closed. We took it in stride and we appreciative for those working hard to serve everyone.
Thanks for sharing your family!
Thanks Crystal.
Love the videos Jerry, thanks for sharing your travels! Good looking Fam! Looking forward to watching your next adventure. ~DC
Thanks a bunch.
Nice to be with the family
That is is Tim.
Jerry, You have a nice family and that food looks awesome. I'm jealous you're having to much fun. I'd love to walk on that beach with you guys.
Thanks Ty. Fun month and great time with the kids.
As bad as Joan is walking, she is walking better than me. Not a complaint out of her. Bless her heart. : )
Bert, she's a sport. Enjoys time out and works hard to adjust. Tough lady.
Love it, (the beach) naturalized.
Have a great one!
Had a great time.
Really really enjoyed this. Looks like your family had a much needed family adventure. We camped for a week in sevierville tenn week or so back. Had a great time too. We love camping and seeing new sites. We are only around 3 hours from Tenn so that's a place we camp at often..
Hi Vickie. Joan and I enjoy Pigeon Forge in the fall except for this year. Joan had to have a little January Pigeon Forge snow this year.
Loved Ocean Grove. Thanks for the recommendations. It was good to talk with you a bit at the bar there at Ebb Tide. Back home now planning next trip. Good luck on your travels.
Same here Ben. Pleasure meeting you all. We too are back home for some business needs. Reservations made and looking forward to heading back out.
Amazing week!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
That it was!!!
Surprised those restaurants are still open....stay safe....and definitely no more samples!
Thanks. With current travel, the environment is changing almost daily. The kids were tested when we returned for access to school sports. Everyone is ok. Travel is on hold again thru July. Hopefully this will start to settle again soon.
@@iLoveRVlifegood to hear. My husband was tested, came in contact at work, thankfully negative too. We have a class C and travel alot too. We currently live in New Mexico, too hot too camp now since we aren't allowed to leave the state without 14 day quarantine coming back. Four more years til retirement then it's back to the east coast we go. Most likely Myrtle beach area. Use to live in PA.
Great video. Being from Com-necticut , it’s nice seeing faces without linens walking around enjoying themselves.
Thanks. Was wide open spaces in June.
We are still not able to go yet and we are jealous. You have a great family. Check out Roan Mountain State Park. You have to reserve online.
Hi Randall. Roan Mountain has been on the list for some time. I was born in Bristol and still have a lot of family there. Wish we were there now. We just got back to middle Georgia to take care of some business needs and it’s hot as blue blazes here!
Great family time! Were you able to sleep everyone in your RV?
Thanks. Julie and Josh brought their camper. Nice unit with a large 3 bed bunkhouse in the rear for the kiddos. Joel stayed with us and we have a queen sleeper in the living area.
I think I just gained 10 pds 😂. Thx for sharing
Haha! And that was just for starters. Thus went on all week. Thank goodness for those morning power walks.
At 14:57 one of the hotels at the beach looks to be leaning considerably. Was it?
It wasn’t Johnny. Just me bouncing around with the camera a little less level.
But you didn’t show the Castillo De San Marcos!!!!
Because it is closed due to Covid
Wanted to. Unfortunately closed due to Covid and no timeframe to open.
Can’t remember if it a US Park or not??
It’s a National Monument. Fort Matanza was closed too. State Park at St. Augustine was open. Plus most of the beach businesses were open. A few, no many, restaurants were takeout.
Love your videos but very concerned about you not using masks and social distancing???
Now Florida is a hot spot again. Please be more responsible.
Yes, responsible, caring, astute.
I’m sad to say i felt the same- cute thumbnail - excited for some 4th content - usually love the vids - i almost forgot about the health dangers watching it. Then i saw a few people wearing masks, then the food samples? Still, not trying to be that person. Then at the end when the RV pulled away heading up North i actually had my mouth open. I don’t know- I’m really excited for RV life, excited to be a part of this community that gets to travel where the winds take them but this just felt not good.
I appreciate everyone’s concerns. As a family, we maintained a safe distance from others during our entire stay at St. Augustine. We would never put our family or those around us in jeopardy. We practiced the recommendations suggested by the State of Florida and the CDC. As a result, we were able to enjoy our favorite beach for a month and none of us have shown any affects from COVID. Our goal for this channel has always been to show the RV lifestyle in a positive manner. We don’t profess to have medical expertise and never have and never will engage in any form of political discussion on this channel. Our sincere hope is that everyone will continue to enjoy our channel for our attempt to be entertaining and informative.
@@iLoveRVlife you did not social distance at the restaurant.
I watch all your videos and so disappointed that you nor family members were not wearing masks! So very irresponsible to others....and what example is this setting for grandkids! I would have enjoyed this video much more had you followed proper protocol.
I agree. What is also surprising is the waiters are serving food without masks.

Disappointed that you are not wearing masks. Not good, not in Florida, not now. Really??!!! Irresponsible to say the least
@Bob Jones yes I obviously have to bring it up.
Calm down Karen.
@Bob Jones It sounds like you need to follow your own advice. Put your mask on and shut up!
@@sparrow936 I am calm, but unhappy that a public figure who may be asymptomatic comes into Florida not far from my home and doesn't wear masks. It's a very contagious virus and a very easy thing to wear a mask, for my sake, his sake and your sake. Easy, but not done. Why? I mean 11400 new cases in Florida in one day! If the scientists and health care workers are wrong about masks, it's a mere inconvenience. If they are right, who can it save from a devastating illness?!
