AssalamoAlaikum Sir you said if the marriage is not possible for some reason then just move on, i just want to ask how one can move on sir? Allah puts love in our heart and from 1st day my intention was right(means i will marry him) and now its impossible for me to move on. I have been through same problem, Once i loved someone so purely so deeply, but suffered alot, i was unable to foget her, but at very moment i prayed ALLAH to give me strength to forget her and move on with my life, ALLAH has blessed me and gave me that strength, now my first part of suffering is over yes i did some steps also, completely remove her pics from mob block her from whatsapp and strict my mind to not to think about her, eventually i started to forget her. Now i am in second phase the phase us called acceptance of new relationship, am not not dating or thinking about these things, i meant to say completing relying on ALMIGHTY and pray that oh my lord give me the one who is good for me and bless me the right person.. Pray to him he is the sustainer he is the one who gives comfort to broken hearts, he will listen and grant us the thinks which brings goodness. I loved a girl and she loved me too she promised that she'll marry me but later I came to now that she was cheating on me. And now my whole life is shattered I don't know what to do I so lonely no one understands my pain they think my story is just an another love failure. No one understands my pain and sufferings. I want to forget her completely and move on but it's 8 month and her memories still haunts me to the hell. I have a family I need to support them but I can't concentrate on anything. I fell in love with a sister in my med school class who I knew a little bit, but she told me that she wanted to remain friends. I am utterly heartbroken because I even did Isthikara hoping for the best. She seemed like the right combination of beauty, athleticism, smarts and humility, but I'm now starting to see faults in her that perhaps Allah was trying to save me from. I hope to find someone to cool my eyes, who will love me back and make me fall in deeper love than this girl, InshAllah. She never expanded on why she said that and I never bothered to probe any deeper about it. I still do dua that Allah being us close if she's the right one for me. Honestly, you can't force her to desire you. That's the painful part of it all, I know. Feelings have to be mutual for it to work. Imagine she did get with you, but it's you who does all the romantic stuff, buying gifts, making her life easier. While she sees you as settlement. You can't force people to like you, you're in med school. Just focus and work on yourself.

Assalam o Alaikum brothers and sisters! I just wanted to let everyone know that it is definitely possible to move on. You have to trust Allah’s plan. I thought it was impossible to get over this Muslim sister that I was interested in getting married to. She had mutual feelings to begin with but then told me a few months later that she’s not ready or just can’t talk about it this soon. She said her parents won’t accept me but I think she was being nice so that I’m not hurt but didn’t even give me a chance to speak to her parents as how can one tell if you don’t even try. Believe me I was obsessed to the point where I thought about her all day everyday, losing sleep over it, even while at work, when socialising with friends and losing focus over daily tasks. I though too far to the point that we’ll get married and have kids etc but Allah had better plans. When she said no I was absolutely heartbroken as I thought I she was a good match being a Hijabi and religious. Then Alhamdulillah I prayed to Allah everyday that if she’s good for me to make it easy otherwise keep me away from her. SubhanAllah Today I came to a realisation that if something is making me loose sleep, be unproductive, and affecting my day to day activities so much to the point that is extremely unhealthy and dangerous if not get sorted as soon as possible would be disastrous and would destroy my life, when we are not even together than how will it be any good or peaceful if we are together. Then I completely lost interest. No one’s to blame her as I’m sure she’s a very nice girl. See the below Ayah: Another of His signs is that He created spouses from among yourselves for you to live with in tranquillity: He ordained love and kindness between you. There truly are signs in this for those who reflect (30:21). If there is no peace now when your not together and only stress anxiety and depression, there would’ve never been any peace if you were to let’s say get married and Allah saved you. I think it all comes down to low self esteem and we try looking to fill our emptiness in worldly things be it a person or any other thing. What we need to do is to focus on improving our relationship with Allah and things will get better because our love should mainly be focused to please Allah and only then you’ll be content and good enough to love another person as you are full. You have to trust Allah’s plan. He knows you better than you know yourself and I pray that Allah makes it easier for anyone that’s going through heartbreaks. You have to be patient and trust Allah’s plan fully.

I went through the same exact thing this past month, brother. A girl in my medical school who I fell in love with rejected my interest in her. I was heartbroken to the point that I couldn't focus on my studies, gym, or anything else. I was obsessing over it night and day. Now that Allah has ordained that she is not for me, I'm slowly moving on. I fell in love hard with a girl from a different culture. I believe she loved me to an extent too however I couldn’t be with her for her way of life went against mine. I didn’t care much at the start because all I wanted was to party and be casual however my heart landed for her and it made it even more difficult when she told me a secret about her past. I couldn’t look at her or the school system the same way again. Everything about her screamed she wasn’t for me which is why we had to go out separate ways. It’s been 3 months and I’m feeling moved on but some days my mind still races and my heart still bleeds. It just feels sad, because other have it. In real life, I can´t crave for something called relationship if it has vocabularies such as betrayal and jealousy. It´s a contradiction. Asiya (a woman) and Isa (a man), were also alone in this life. And even if I had a partner I would still love my friends and treat them the same as before, no matter you`re someones wife or husband. This is a quality that many don´t have. That´s why they break the hearts of people.
Today is my birthday. Im 42-years- old. I am a new revert. I am divorced and have two children. I pray Allah finds me a good husband that is a good Muslim inshallah. Its becuz we need to remeber always we are not in this world just to find someone to love... we are here to please Allah. To be true muslims. We cannot have temptations of this world. We need to look forward to afterlife. Who is more important to you ?? A girl or boy you love or is it Allah ?? How can we be happy if we dont perform our duties in this world properly ?? Surely we all feel the pain we have is the greatest in this world but it's literally not as great as what our prophets (peace be upon them) and their friends faced. Is this how we will be representing ourselves as last of our ummah??? I just want everyone to think about this everytime you think and life is over without the one you love. Becuz there is so much more to life than that. It's to please Allah to be a good Muslim. That is the only purpose of our life that will make us live until we die. May Allah guide us all towards the right path. Ameen.

love generally develops because we let it grow when we like someone either by looks, richness, or whatever. it wont grow if we dont focus on it. i have always been single but in spite of having feelings towards someone i like occasionally i dont let it grow because what is the chance that i will get her. But yes i feel very lonely but i also know i am not suffering as bad as someone who will never get their loved one to live with . now i just hope i get to marry a girl who does not have feeling for another person, because that is highly probable where everyone lost their original lover and tends to cheat on their actual partner. I am the second eldest daughter of a family of 5 daughters n no brothers.My life was one of abuse, suffering, loneliness n rejection from my parents, especially my mother. I am 48 now, no prospects to get married, I had to look after both of my parents. Extendesd family tried to use me to run around looking after their needs. Even if they did not do their duty toward you, you have to do yours toward them. I'm so proud of you for doing this. We are all tested with one thing or another and Allah tests those he loves. I have been through same problem, Once i loved someone so purely so deeply, but suffered alot, i was unable to foget her, but at very moment i prayed ALLAH to give me strength to forget her and move on with my life, ALLAH has blessed me and gave me that strength, now my first part of suffering is over yes i did some steps also, completely remove her pics from mob block her from whatsapp and strict my mind to not to think about her, eventually i started to forget her. Now i am in second phase the phase us called acceptance of new relationship, am not not dating or thinking about these things, i meant to say completing relying on ALMIGHTY and pray that oh my lord give me the one who is good for me and bless me the right person.. Pray to him he is the sustainer he is the one who gives comfort to broken hearts, he will listen and grant us the thinks which brings goodness. Tawaakul is key and in bad situation one must seek help through sabr and nawaz. May ALMIGHTY grant us a deep understanding.

Honestly, you can't force her to desire you. That's the painful part of it all, I know. Feelings have to be mutual for it to work. Imagine she did get with you, but it's you who does all the romantic stuff, buying gifts, making her life easier. While she sees you as settlement. You can't force people to like you, you're in med school. Just focus and work on yourself.

I am going through a rough patch’ in my life with someone who’ I am supposed to get married to. However, when I am communicating, affiliating with this person I do not feel happy, we argue and our relationship has gone down hill. Has made me suffer from anxiety, sadness and a lot of anger built up. So I will cut off contact with him, and call out to Allah and I feel so much more peace.. it’s beginning to make me think this guy isn’t the right spouse for me 😥

Assalam o Alaikum brothers and sisters! I just wanted to let everyone know that it is definitely possible to move on. You have to trust Allah’s plan. I thought it was impossible to get over this Muslim sister that I was interested in getting married to. She had mutual feelings to begin with but then told me a few months later that she’s not ready or just can’t talk about it this soon. She said her parents won’t accept me but I think she was being nice so that I’m not hurt but didn’t even give me a chance to speak to her parents as how can one tell if you don’t even try. Believe me I was obsessed to the point where I thought about her all day everyday, losing sleep over it, even while at work, when socialising with friends and losing focus over daily tasks. I though too far to the point that we’ll get married and have kids etc but Allah had better plans. When she said no I was absolutely heartbroken as I thought I she was a good match being a Hijabi and religious. Then Alhamdulillah I prayed to Allah everyday that if she’s good for me to make it easy otherwise keep me away from her. SubhanAllah Today I came to a realisation that if something is making me loose sleep, be unproductive, and affecting my day to day activities so much to the point that is extremely unhealthy and dangerous if not get sorted as soon as possible would be disastrous and would destroy my life, when we are not even together than how will it be any good or peaceful if we are together. Then I completely lost interest. No one’s to blame her as I’m sure she’s a very nice girl.

If there is no peace now when your not together and only stress anxiety and depression, there would’ve never been any peace if you were to let’s say get married and Allah saved you. I think it all comes down to low self esteem and we try looking to fill our emptiness in worldly things be it a person or any other thing. What we need to do is to focus on improving our relationship with Allah and things will get better because our love should mainly be focused to please Allah and only then you’ll be content and good enough to love another person as you are full. You have to trust Allah’s plan. He knows you better than you know yourself and I pray that Allah makes it easier for anyone that’s going through heartbreaks. You have to be patient and trust Allah’s plan fully.

I went through the same exact thing this past month, brother. A girl in my medical school who I fell in love with rejected my interest in her. I was heartbroken to the point that I couldn't focus on my studies, gym, or anything else. I was obsessing over it night and day. Now that Allah has ordained that she is not for me, I'm slowly moving on. It's still painful, but now I'm realizing that I have to improve myself and my connection with Allah before I can find the right person. Each time I listen I get motivated
I fell in love hard with a girl from a different culture. I believe she loved me to an extent too however I couldn’t be with her for her way of life went against mine. I didn’t care much at the start because all I wanted was to party and be casual however my heart landed for her and it made it even more difficult when she told me a secret about her past. I couldn’t look at her or the school system the same way again.
Everything about her screamed she wasn’t for me which is why we had to go out separate ways. It’s been 3 months and I’m feeling moved on but some days my mind still races and my heart still bleeds.
All I know is I wish her and her close ones the best and I will continue to improve on myself to be able to be more virtuous, strong, kind and loving during the present

It just feels sad, because other have it. In real life, I can´t crave for something called relationship if it has vocabularies such as betrayal and jealousy. It´s a contradiction. Asiya (a woman) and Isa (a man), were also alone in this life. And even if I had a partner I would still love my friends and treat them the same as before, no matter you`re someones wife or husband. This is a quality that many don´t have. That´s why they break the hearts of people.

Today is my birthday. Im 42-years- old. I am a new revert. I am divorced and have two children. I pray Allah finds me a good husband that is a good Muslim inshallah. Times have changed and with each passing generation it's difficult to trust people and becuz of that people prefer doing love marriage rather than arrange... surely I know it's difficult to marry someone you dont know.
The reason why I feel everyone is depressed these days in love is becuz we dont do any halal things... we fall prey to shaitan and we all know haram things will never bring us genuine happiness. I know I myself am not clean in this world. No matter what happens everyone has to move on one day... I know it is easy to say than do but in cases when we have to move on we need to understand that we lived even before meeting the person we love. We did survive!! And you know why?? Its becuz we need to remeber always we are not in this world just to find someone to love... we are here to please Allah. To be true muslims. We cannot have temptations of this world. We need to look forward to afterlife. Who is more important to you ?? A girl or boy you love or is it Allah ?? How can we be happy if we dont perform our duties in this world properly ?? Surely we all feel the pain we have is the greatest in this world but it's literally not as great as what our prophets (peace be upon them) and their friends faced. Is this how we will be representing ourselves as last of our ummah???
I just want everyone to think about this everytime you think and life is over without the one you love. Becuz there is so much more to life than that. It's to please Allah to be a good Muslim. That is the only purpose of our life that will make us live until we die.

Please someone give me advice. I am the second eldest daughter of a family of 5 daughters n no brothers.My life was one of abuse, suffering, loneliness n rejection from my parents, especially my mother. I am 48 now, no prospects to get married, I had to look after both of my parents. Extendesd family tried to use me to run around looking after their needs. I had suffered a lot of abuse n they tried to manipulate me. I have cut off ties with them. I live alone with my elderly mother. I don't know if I will ever attain the type of happiness n peace others have. I avoid married people cos they think I will give them the evil eye but yet I pray for them to be blessed. Will Allah ever hear me? What Allah want from me? I have was a good daughter to both of my parents, hardworking n loving. I didn't get much of a childhood cos I was forced to take care. of my wayward elder sister, yet she lives happily married n gets respect just like my other married sisters. I tried all my life to be a good n perfect daughter n never got any love from parents. They took me for granted n I sacrificed most of my life for them. Please someone if they could tell me what does Allah want fr me now? I'll do just to get a normal life.

sister maa shaa Allah tabarakallah for doing what Allah asked of you in terms of taking care of your parents and sisters. Even if they did not do their duty toward you, you have to do yours toward them. I'm so proud of you for doing this.
We are all tested with one thing or another and Allah tests those he loves. This test increases your Iman and your level in the eyes of Allah so don't be disheartened.
Keep making dua and remember Allah answers all dua. Yours might or might not be answered in the way you want but it will be answered. You will either get what you ask for or that which is better or you will get rewards for your patience or it will be answered in akhira. It maybe that Allah is protecting you from a clamity worse that the situation you are in now sister. Subhanallah Allah knows what's best for us and we should try not be depressed about what he designs for us. How could we say that Allah did not give me a good or normal life when we know nothing and Allah knows the hidden and the obvious.
May Allah bless you for doing good toward your parents and I pray you continue that and not be disheartened. forget what ignorant people say about evil eye. That's their sin not yours. pray for their blessings because when the angels hear your dua for others then they ask Allah that you be given the same too. Subhanallah imagine the angels making dua for you to Allah.
You're not the only one going through a situation like this sister but remind yourself that you are one of the few handling it very well. Try your best to find a good practising muslim man who will marry you and not mistreat you. There are many who will Mary and value who you are so keep looking and ask your elders who are kind or the imam in masjid for help. consider being a second wife if this is not too much for you.
Keep strong your connection to Allah and Allah will give you khair that you can not forsee.
May Allah give you a pious brother who will protect you and your family and help you attain goodness in both here and akhira. My heart is with you and I'm truly and honestly proud of you and hope to be for my parents as good a daughter as you are to your parents. Maa shaa Allah tabarakallah.
