I never use vinegar. Smell kills me. I use alcohol instead. Love it. I also have a new stain cleaner for my clothes. I bought a bottle that is black. No light can get through it. Half peroxide,half blue dawn. Shake it and the stains just go away. It has taken the place of Shout, which I used forever.
I've always heard that whatever you do on the 1st day of the year is what you'll be doing for the rest of the year. Since my house is always a total disaster I have been working on it today a little because I want to work on it every day of the year a little at a time to hopefully make a big improvement. I did not want to spend the 1st day just sitting around like I usually do because I don't want to do that for the rest of the year.
The one thing I use baking soda and vinegar together on is my ashtray. I add a spoonful of bs when it's freshly cleaned which helps both with odor and putting out the cigarette. When I empty it there's always some left stuck to the bottom. Add a squirt of the diy dish spray and then a capful of vinegar and let it foam up and sit with the soap for a bit and then rinse and wipe it out before starting over again. It's super effective (especially if you use a lidded jar instead of a typical ashtray) at both keeping the smell down and eliminates the need to scrub the stinky thing 😆
Please tell me how to get rid of stink in my kitchen sinks 😢 I've tried Baking Soda & Vinega, Drano, Bleach, etc & just can't seem to get a good solution. Thanks for all the great Tips & for this channel ❤

Im sure im not the only person that washes my clothes the way my mum has always done and I don't really venture to try new products. I see a lot of people using it clean or scent beads or vinegar etc. I don't know what these products are good for or how to incorporate them into my laundry. I would love if you could do a video explaining all the different products you can use in your laundry with the pros and cons of each so that myself and others like me can create our own cocktail of products to get the best results rather then just doing the same thing we've always done.

Can you do how to clean estential oils on bedroom wood furniture i got it stuck with a candel top cover by accident with esstential oils now its super stuck to it lord i wish i would o known before when you turn on your esstential oils to smell good there was such thing as having something to cover your furniture to not get it stained with the fog of the esstential aroma noe my furntiure so ugly lol 😮😊😢

I used the dreaded blue stuff and paper towel on one window and the vinegar water mixture on another window with a microfiber cloth. Just to see. That’s when I stopped using the dreaded blue stuff and paper towel for glass for good. If I knew you were coming over I would clean the bathroom. That would be the room you are most likely to use. Could you please make a video about the „The Pink Stuff“ products? They seem to be quite good, but I‘m „a bit“ lost with the big selection… For example, I bought „The Pink Stuff“ paste… it is clean my oven and stove🥳, but… now the paste inside the container is dirty 😳… how do you scoop this thing?! 🙈
What about the Mr. Clean sponge to clean vinyl flooring? I have vinyl flooring in my kitchen and mud room that has "grooves" and the dirt sticks in those grooves. I use the Makers Mop to clean my floors, but like I said the dirt in the grooves wouldn't come up without the Mr. Clean sponge.
Melissa is there any way to hand wash microfiber towels? I don’t have a ton of microfiber towels, so it’s hard to justify (energy usage) washing a few microfiber towels in the washing machine at a time. Are there other things you could wash with them or even just hand washing? I’ve ruined so many in the past not knowing how to wash them. My washing machine is huge and there’s no size setting so it runs an entire load of water whether it needs it or not(supposedly energy efficient).
OMG! You are definitely someone I would like to meet and spend time with, but at this point I couldn’t have you in my house! It needs a cleaning overhaul! 🤣 Btw, when you wipe crumbs etc off your kitchen surfaces and onto the floor, don’t you end up walking thru that dirt and it sticks to your bare feet? 😮
I did not expect that foot lift 😂 all jokes aside. When it comes to floors. I have uneven, dark slate floors in my house. It seems impossible to get them clean. No matter how many time I scrub and clean them my 2 year old son and I always get black on the bottom of our feet. It drives me nuts. As a single dad, I am NOT the best at cleaning. So really any advice would help me here. Thanks in advance!
If the Queen of Clean visited my house, I would tidy up the family room and dining room. The former because that is where we relax, and the later because the table tends to be the way station for paperwork and things that belong elsewhere. My living room is always guest ready, but my husband’s den is not my domain or concern. (I can blame him for the mess and feel totally guilt free.) The kitchen, powder room and foyer are my non-negotiable areas. I clean them daily just in case Melissa drops by unexpectedly. 😂. Wishing you a happy, healthy and clean new year.
Happy new year Melissa! I was listening to your vlog whilst cleaning today. I have been cleaning and tidying all day. My Apple Watch says I have done 12,866 steps so far and it’s 9.20 pm here in the UK. Really satisfying and productive day. Nothing better than looking around and seeing the fruits of one’s labour and who needs the gym when you are constantly on the go ! I do have a professional cleaner but she has been off for Christmas. I still clean up before she comes each week! Look forward to the next one. Best wishes for 2024 !

Try soaking the areas with ammonia, then launder.
