Fantastic tutorial, the detail you put on these things is incredible. Your audio sounds a little different, did you change something in the editing?

I recorded a voice over for this video instead of talking as I modeled. It makes a better video, but it also takes more time so I don't always get it done.

After you get your masks in place you can spray the model with dull coat before you paint your strips. It's a trick i picked up from modeling camouflage on military models. Looks awesome.Thank you for sharing another outstanding video.

I have done that when air brushing, but with these little strioes it just didn't seem necessary.

I thought you would airbrush the stripes, but your brush technique of coloring in a faded manner was darn good. I hope you find a backdrop to blend the overpass into the skyboard.

Sure, just but join the edges. I would add a little extra styrene in the middle, similar to what I did here, then Jersey barriers down the middle.

Yes, but there isn't time to scratch build everything. I have plenty to scratch build. When there is a kit that gets me 60% of the way there I will go with it.

Use extruded foam, not bead board. You will be much happier. You can find it at lumber and building stores.
