Omg I said this exact thing the other day I don't want be the one God spits out of his mouth because I am lukewarm I want to be on fire with God I want god to be someone I know not knew I love you God some much and I want to build a relationship and spend time with u and make a morning and evening routine I want to walk with you beside me and I want your love and presence with me everyday ❤❤❤❤❤ I want to put you first and i want to spend time with you and pray without ceasing I want to be with you no matter the good things in my life or bad in Jesus name with pray this Amen
That is true. I have been a Christian for 25 years. The last one or two years has been the best ride of my life. Temptation are easier to overcome because I spend more time with the Lord.
I’ve been feeling like this these past few days. And I feel bad because I don’t feel like I’m close to God as much as I pray and read the bible and try to also grow as a person in a way that serves Him… It feels empty, like there’s something missing. I have received two videos (including this) on my feed. Maybe it’s a sign, maybe not. But it opens my eyes more and I wanna know how to get closer. I listen to others’ advice, but I’m still lost on what to do to REALLY get closet to God, transform myself and call myself a christian ❤
Ashley I've grown up in a Christian home and I love God and I go to church and youth group but I want to know him. How can I do that? People say all the time trust in God and know God but how do you do that? How do you take more out of the bible and actually feel God and know him?
Now by this we know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments. He who says, “I know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him. He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked. (1 John 2:3-6)
I feel as if I'm on crossroads. Multiple times during the day I just suddenly think about God but at the same time I am so scared to let go of the things I know I shouldn't do. I feel as if I'm not strong enough to change something I've done for years. But like I said, at the same time I know I shouldn't do those things and that I want to be fire for God. I don't know what to do, to be honest.
I was just laying in bed praying to god about how I was scared of the rapture and I told him I am lukewarm and I felt like I should go on yptube and this came up! I am 13 years old and I love this and needed this thank you Ashley!
I’m so lukewarm it’s not even funny, I don’t want to be but I can’t seem to get past the lukewarm phase. I don’t have any Christian’s in my life and I feel like that may be why. I don’t have anyone to push me to go to church and I’m scared to go by myself

For me, you just gotta do some more to have that. James 2:26 “For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.” Even if you pray, have faith, it doesn't do anything unless you work at the same time. Hope this helps ✿

For me, you just gotta do some more to have that.
