just finished up Freshman year, starting my sophomore year... one tip i have is to remember to rejoice when people make fun of you for your faith "Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake, For theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake. Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you."

tip: if there's someone who is maybe being bullied or isn't liked by others, try to befriend them and if possible share God's Word with them. this happened to me and after years of waiting, the Lord gave me a friend in school :)

Yes thank you I started home schooling my two autistic children! It hasn’t been easy but they have shown so much improvement! God please continue to give me the strength to keep going because now that I’m home schooling them my hours to work are limited. Father God please help me to continue to support my children it hasn’t been easy!
If it helps at all, I was homeschooled, I think it is an amazing thing to do if you can and I'm in a Christian college now. I'm praying for you sister in Christ 🙏

High school was a difficult time for me personally, but thankfully at my college I have made so many incredible Christian friends or friends who do not judge me for my beliefs. I needed to hear this in high school: “It’s better to be alone than around toxic people.” Ladies, that teenage phase is so hard. Do not waste it with friends who do not lift you up or encourage you; whether that be in your faith or goals you have. Those are not to mention some of those last years before you go out into the real world. Those middle or high school memories don’t shine as bright if you weren’t surrounded by uplifting friends. As previously mentioned, my college experience thankfully has been blessed in the area making Christian friends, but don’t take that as “it will be easy.” It might be for some people or for others it may not. However, don’t be discouraged. Go to those Bible studies at school, but if your school doesn’t have one, one of my friends started one. If you feel that the Lord is calling you to it, start one or some type of discipleship for Christ and those Christians on campus. Or go to that local church and get around people your own age if you can. And ofc pray for Christian friends and ask the Lord to highlight those people in your life, as Ashley shared in the video. Thank you Ash for sharing, so encouraging! A verse to lean onto: “As iron sharpens iron, so a friend sharpens a friend.” - Proverbs 27:17 NLT. Have a great and blessed school year. Ashley this video is so awesome!! I’m a teen gal who’s actually homeschooled, and I’m trying to improve my relationship with God and my other friendships. I am actually part of a homeschool group that believes in God! I am very grateful that I can easily surround myself with people that also believe in God like me, but it can still be challenging to make friends (and keep friends). In my group, there are people who already have their “friend groups” and sometimes it can be hard for me to fit in. I have made a few amazing friends from there, yet I still struggle with even those friendships because either something causes us to drift apart for a little while or I just don’t communicate with them enough (the main con with homeschooling is that we can’t see each other every day at a school lol). So your tips are really helpful, especially the one from the Bible about treating others as I would want them to treat me. Thanks so much Ashley ❤️ Pls make more videos for teens! I love your video Ashley. I loved your advice on how to share the gospel with people and a kind, loving and accepting way without judging people or forcing them to be a Christian. It’s good to have Christian friends as a Christian, it’s good to have friends who also love god. But it’s also ok to have a friend who’s an atheist or has a different religion. It does not make them toxic or a bad influence, as long as their good friends who help you, treat you well and respect that your a Christian and don’t pressure you to do bad things, then there not bad to be around. Your completely right about not forcing others to be a Christian. All we can do is share the love and good things about god but it’s still their choice on wether they want to be a Christian or not.

Hi I just found your video randomly and as a 17 years old Muslim who is an arab and live in north Africa it's actually helping a lot, I've been struggling before from bullying and getting called by "closed minded person" just because I have a dress code my family made it for me (a.k.a moddest clothing) and I'm not allowed to break it, and I never got treated well by these people until it effected my mental health and my grades and I failed a whole grade but it was worth it cz I got the opportunity to meet other people and I had a lot of friends some of them they cut me off and some of them still talking to me and still hanging out, and lately I've been stressed out a lil about this school year and when I finished watching the whole video I feel relaxed and I'll try my best to follow all the tips that you talked about it in your video 🖤

Yes thank you I started home schooling my two autistic children! It hasn’t been easy but they have shown so much improvement! God please continue to give me the strength to keep going because now that I’m home schooling them my hours to work are limited. Father God please help me to continue to support my children it hasn’t been easy!

High school was a difficult time for me personally, but thankfully at my college I have made so many incredible Christian friends or friends who do not judge me for my beliefs. I needed to hear this in high school: “It’s better to be alone than around toxic people.” Ladies, that teenage phase is so hard. Do not waste it with friends who do not lift you up or encourage you; whether that be in your faith or goals you have. Those are not to mention some of those last years before you go out into the real world. Those middle or high school memories don’t shine as bright if you weren’t surrounded by uplifting friends. As previously mentioned, my college experience thankfully has been blessed in the area making Christian friends, but don’t take that as “it will be easy.” It might be for some people or for others it may not. However, don’t be discouraged. Go to those Bible studies at school, but if your school doesn’t have one, one of my friends started one. If you feel that the Lord is calling you to it, start one or some type of discipleship for Christ and those Christians on campus. Or go to that local church and get around people your own age if you can. And ofc pray for Christian friends and ask the Lord to highlight those people in your life, as Ashley shared in the video. Thank you Ash for sharing, so encouraging! A verse to lean onto: “As iron sharpens iron, so a friend sharpens a friend.” - Proverbs 27:17 NLT. Have a great and blessed school year. I am actually part of a homeschool group that believes in God! I am very grateful that I can easily surround myself with people that also believe in God like me, but it can still be challenging to make friends (and keep friends). In my group, there are people who already have their “friend groups” and sometimes it can be hard for me to fit in. I have made a few amazing friends from there, yet I still struggle with even those friendships because either something causes us to drift apart for a little while or I just don’t communicate with them enough (the main con with homeschooling is that we can’t see each other every day at a school lol). So your tips are really helpful, especially the one from the Bible about treating others as I would want them to treat me. Thanks so much Ashley ❤️ Pls make more videos for teens! I love your video Ashley. I loved your advice on how to share the gospel with people and a kind, loving and accepting way without judging people or forcing them to be a Christian. It’s good to have Christian friends as a Christian, it’s good to have friends who also love god. But it’s also ok to have a friend who’s an atheist or has a different religion. It does not make them toxic or a bad influence, as long as their good friends who help you, treat you well and respect that your a Christian and don’t pressure you to do bad things, then there not bad to be around. Your completely right about not forcing others to be a Christian. All we can do is share the love and good things about god but it’s still their choice on wether they want to be a Christian or not.

I have struggled with friendships so so much, but I had the same experience where I went to a camp where I knew NO ONE and yea there were non Christian’s but I knew that I needed to be myself and god will give me the perfect friend. And he answered my prayers and now I have an AMAZING Christian friend and this summer I have been thriving especially since it’s been 1 year since I’ve been saved! Hi I just found your video randomly and as a 17 years old Muslim who is an arab and live in north Africa it's actually helping a lot, I've been struggling before from bullying and getting called by "closed minded person" just because I have a dress code my family made it for me (a.k.a moddest clothing) and I'm not allowed to break it, and I never got treated well by these people until it effected my mental health and my grades and I failed a whole grade but it was worth it cz I got the opportunity to meet other people and I had a lot of friends some of them they cut me off and some of them still talking to me and still hanging out, and lately I've been stressed out a lil about this school year and when I finished watching the whole video I feel relaxed and I'll try my best to follow all the tips that you talked about it in your video 🖤
