Johnny Depp, Helena Bonham Carter, and ANNE HATHAWAY!!! there's no way I'm missing this when it's released.
The film is basically about how Alice returns to wonderland years after her visit there as a child. This time the story is darker and a bit more scary than the original childfriendly tale and personally I like this... But there's humour there as well, it's so funny when the mad hatter dance the "futterwacken", you must see it! :)

This is the only Alice in Wonderland film I love! Tim Burton is an amazing director and Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter are the best actors ever! I don't understand why people hate it.
Pretty much the whole movie was shot with green screen, if you watch the behind the scenes, you'll see just how much effort it took!

tim burton is such a visionary. to create these sorts of movies when they're mostly shot on nothing but green or blue backgrounds is extraordinary!
Watched the movie in 3D today, and I loved it! Johnny Depp made an absolutely adorable Hatter, and adding Stephen Fry to the cast was an excellent touch.
This was meant to be the second time falling down the rabbit hole, as alice was older. There is a flashback scene (memory) of the first time alice fell, as a child.

I asked my mum if she'd take me to see it opening day and she agreed! (which isn't something she does often) I'M SO EXCITED! I have been waiting for this very impatiently for the past three years and I can't believe it's finally arriving!!
I saw this movie in 3D last weekend, and I gotta say, it's amazing :) I absolutely enjoyed it because although they changed quite a few things around from the orginal movie, they still kept the best parts about it. Johnny Depp was great too :)
The movie title was "Alice" in the wonderland. But the main role was on Johnny Depp xD

Tim Burton has done it once again! The Alice in Wonderland film is a masterpiece; from the special effects down to its exotic sets. The film also has a wonderful list of cast. Helena Bonham Carter was outstanding in her role as the Red Queen as well as Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter. Although, I disliked Alice's and the White Queen's make-up, I thought it was slightly overdone. The costumes on the other hand were creatively done and are fitted to the different characters' personality.
Saw this today, it is amazing! the 3D is incredible, the actors are superb!
I would definitely recommend this movie for adults and kids.

After watching Alice in Wonderland I realised that in life we sometimes fall into a pit & through desperation we enter into a new world that can seem, wierd, wonderful and magical at times. We go through ups and downs and get ourselves into a lot of strife. But just like Alice, we have to wake & leave that dream in or...der to grow up & become mature independant adults who can cope with life's hardships.

This is simply Tim Burton having poetic licence and a lit of charectors to work with. If you do not go in expecting the lius carrol version orthe original disney version you will not be disappointed

I bet this movie is other than expected when you watch this trailer before going to the cinema. The trailer makes the movie look funnier than it actually is.
I liked the movie but I was not expecting it the way it was.
They said this was when she was returning to Wonderland, it even showed a clip of when she was here the first time, painting the red queens roses, this is her coming back to help the Wonderlings escape the red queens rule, of course shes no longer a child

There are two books: Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass.
Alice in Wonderland shows a 6 years old Alice visiting Wonderland for the first time. Through the Looking Glass show a 17 years old Alice returning to wonderland.
I thing the movie is based on her return to Wonderland, as told in Through The Looking Glass by Carrol.
The mad hatter's character looks wonderful. Can't wait! :D

Gotta love the way Cheshire cat looks in this one.
This movie was awesome.. not the best Burton film by a mile, but a solid and entertaining experience.. It had some really funny parts, and the 3D combined with Burton's crazy art-style was jaw-dropping.
It's really wonderfull. However I prefer the 1951 version.
