Hello, Core. Sorry for the stupid question, but did you play with 2 2-h hammers swap mechanic build? Rotation: horde - heavy-swap; elites - light-light-swap.

Can you explain to me the point of the great axe?
Great Hammer seems to have more dps for either armored and hordes... And everything else is just more, as far as i see.
What am i missing/misunderstanding?
Great axe is much better in killing unarmoured elites and monsters. It also kills hordes faster strictly speaking but it has less cleave.
He is playing on a rebalance mod which changes almost all weapons and careers in some way so it's likely both of these weapons were buffed in some way.
@@thebenvz. You mean that it has more dmg concentrated on a medium cleeve? Makes sense i suppose, it's the only thing i can imagine here as a certain advantage of OG GAxe.

@@thebenvz. Great Axe has good Damage Cleave on Heavies, Great Hammer has lower damage cleave but max Stagger Cleave

Been playing V2 for over 2 years and solid Cata player here.
I find Slayer by far the most underwhelming character in V2. Too squishy, poor THP regen and mediocre Dmg.
On official balance he has access to near constant 40% damage reduction. He has 2 of the best temp HP generating talents in the game with weapons that work well with said talents... Yes, he's overshadowed by other careers but he's also leagues better than shit like engineer, pyro, huntsman etc
Also keep in mind this is played with a rebalance mod where him and his weapons are buffed quite a lot.
Cog hammer is more reliable than the two handed hammer when it comes to elites. Two hand axe out for 90% of the game for me and i hardly need to block the way i play. Especially with the guys i team up with. I can rely on them to do thier jobs whoever career they choose to play.
Cog Hammer for Armour, 2 handed Axe for un-armoured. 2 Handed Hammer is decent Vs armour and is good at Hoard CC due to high Stagger Cleave in Heavies
Do you play on the same difficulty / rebalance mod core plays on, because many things are changed here so his choice of weaponry has different reasoning
@@prich0382 i checked out his build and noticed for the second talent tree he chose the one handed for both weapons to have the speed? Does that count for two handed weapons as well or??
