Fantastic video. My question is , how do you manage to get a fantastic video in 4k ? Is this by using a phone or video camera. The video quality is breathtaking.
You are a true Lagosian. Thank you for all you do.
You are very welcome
Nigeria is a very interesting country that i would love to vist...watching from kenya🇰🇪🇰🇪
you definitively should stop thinking about it and simply do it. Nigeria is an amazing country
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Guys, do you have “city planner” in Nigeria? Your market street is a shocker, to be honest.
Pedestrians (people) and vehicles shouldn’t be allowed to be crowding together. Separate them.
Suggestions: Let the street be a “vehicle free zone” where people will walk freely.
Build better infrastructure to accommodate vehicles in one space separating them from the movements where these people are.
No we don't have city planner. You can come and helps us. Ode
I d love to be nigerian born, I would allow myself to answer like you did Sir ! @victorepeters.I am always afraid of people misunderstanding my french humor or sarcasm.
Can't wait to visit...i hope to make some new friends 🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲
for sure you will, people bere are kind and always ready to meet new people and share
Long time Ludo. You're a very brave man riding in Lagos. There is no way that I would have subjected myself to that horrific traffic. Anyway, thanks for the content. Stay safe!
Thank you very much!
Am party Nigerian and I live in Silver Spring Md you made it possible for some of us to see Lagos like never before. Thumbs up 👍🏾 😂
thanks so much, did you see the last episode in the night ?
Lagos is a dump and it keeps going from bad to worse. Ludo I admire you for being able to navigate on the very dangerous roads. The Lagos State government ought to be ashamed for having a state looking like this for the world to see. What an embarrassment. Thanks for posting Ludo.
thanks a lot for watching and sharing your feelings
They say it is centre of excellence
I guess you are not from here i presume cause if you are you won't call it names
I was born and brought up there and there is not like a dangerous road. If you know nothing about it then shut up
Nice city tour
Too much diversity
Regards from Multan Pakistan

You're welcome Liu.
Been a subscriber for two years and counting.
thanks so muchhhhh
A normal ride...however, a new viewer may feel despare in the hustle and bustle of Lagos. 🙂
I feel like your new bike accelerates much better than the old one or is it just an illusion caused by the sounds.
yeah the new one is a little more powerful and the acceleration is more powerful, you are right.
thanks to be here brother
Lagos is just big. It is quiet an untidy city. There is nothing enterprising about it.
thanks for watching and sharing your feelings
Thank you for showcasing Lagos and Nigeria at large but I have a question why do you love Lagos/Nigeria so much, most of us are not even proud of our homeland. Why?
maybe the most simple answer is the best one : because I feel really happy here, alive and happy.
this is for sure why i am staying here
You're a wonderful tour guide!
At 15:03, there's a tower up ahead on the right.
What's that place?
And hey, Ludo, those clouds. Did it already rain or is it fixin' to rain? And
which direction on the compass are we headed, and how far are we from the shoreline?
And from this very point, how far are we from any sizzling delicious food?
😊
this is the minar of the central mosque.
thanks a lot for the comment and for your interest
I ❤this
ah ah ah is this the number one ?
Great Vlog. It would be great to see your new Okada bike. I searched the internet but couldn't find a bike named Okada. Company. But it would be nice to see your new bike. ❤

@@Ludo_Liu not yet.
Thanks for sharing 😊
Thanks to be here sister
Absolute chaos!
Your life you mean?
Welcome to Lagos, a place where you can feel alive !
Whatever happened to Lagos! I'm shocked😢!
when did you see it the last time? I have always know these areas like this more or less
OMO my country na movie 😂😂🇺🇸🇳🇬🇯🇲😂
ah ah ah , thanks a lot for watching :)
Standards and measures must be enforced throughout the city, and the states and it's lacking tremendously. The sanitation departments, the parking authorities and the water departments must work and coordinate procedural standards together to ensure cleanliness while deriving revenues simultaneously.
👍👍
cheeers thanks !
How come I don’t receive a notification that you have new post
i don't know why, i post 2 new videos since
What is the speed limit?? What are those little orange things on wheels are they taxis cabs?? 45:50
Yes they are cabs . I am not sure of the answer for speed limit. It depends if the places
I want to sponsor you, but I can't. You seem to go to all these back streets and market places, even I didn't go to when I lived in Lagos. I wanted to reminice and remember my time in Lagos. I never liked Lagos anyway- I grew up in peaceful Ibadan, then moved to Lagos with my late mum before finally coming to England, UK.
This is not the Lagos I remember also those Ocadas (3 wheeled cars) are new since my time- even Marina where I worked in the late 1980s for a short while - does not look like Marina any more. Its so crowded. It was a nice quiet street with an ocean front! Where has the ocean gone?! Wow!
With respect- You seem fascinated with market places and it gives the wrong impression of the Lagos I remember.
To be fair I have not visited Nigeria since Jsnuary 1991 but I don't remember all this filth and congestion - I guess there was no need for me to go to these back streets and market places. It's so shocking - even Timubu no longer looks like the Tinubu I remember - it never was this congested
I also worked on Broad Street in the 1980s, for a short while - there were no hawkers it was a Business street with cooperate buildings. Very professional looking. I cannot believe the amount of sellers, selling stuff. This is shocking!
Even Martin Street which was a street, just looks like a path. My mum's driver used to drive us down Martin Street.
Gosh!
Will I get a culture shock when I rev-visit Lagos?!
It's a good thing to see the changes otherwise I woukd have hot a shock!
That new Train Station on Marina- was all an ocean and I member the British Naval Ship was docked there and I waved to tge sailors as we drove down Marina. Prince Charles as he then was, was visiting Nigeria as well.
The whole place looks so different. Tinubu used to be so nice and ish as well. What happened to it?! Wow!
I'm in shock.
N1000 for a bottle of drink. In my time in the 1980s it was N2.50 kobo and when it went up to N25 it was shocking.
Today I watch all these RUclips videos and things cost Thousands of Naira. Wow!
I can feel the heat just by looking at the video
Thanks a lot to share your history and experience here.yes Lagos has changed a lot since you left …. I am glad to be able to help you to rediscover the Lagos of today . I wish you a great day !
@@Ludo_Liu - Thank you for your kind words. I have now subscribed.
This video really shocked me! It also disappointed as it seems Lagos is getting worse, instead of getting better! It truly was horrifying! I have now subscribed and to be honest - I dread your future videos, because I don't know what I am going to see. Possibly the Lord Jesus, wanted me to see these videos first, before travelling back in person - as I would have been in SHOCK if I arrived and saw this Lagos! Yikes!
I only associated those 3 wheeled vehicles (Okada?), with India or Vehicles used here in the UK for Tourists to see around Central London. Now I can see they are used as Taxis in Lagos. That too, is new to me.
I am so disappointed. Nigeria should be progressing not regressing and I don't understand people on the comments here DELIGHTED with what they have seen. REALLY?!!😱 What is there to be proud of?! All that disgusting black water - God knows what that does to cars?! Repairs at the mechanic's/garages - must be expensive!
I am sorry - its a disgrace and I am ashamed! It is so filthy and crowded! I know you can't help crowds but what are the Local Authorities doing about the pot holes on the streets etc. It's so disgusting! I am in tears as I write this. I only lived in Lagos for a short while, because my late mum moved there in the late 1970s (1979), when she got promoted - and she worked in one of the Banks on Marina, before she was moved to a different Lagos Branch - where she retired. I remember I worked (holiday Job), in the Legal Department of that Bank's Head Office and it was nice looking out of the window at Marina, and seeing just water (The Atlantic) and ships docked. I also did a short stint on Broad Street. Branch of the same Bank and Broad Street was so business like and professional, which is why I was excited to see Broad Street and Marina.
I am in tears as I don't like what I have seen. I never really liked Lagos anyway. I grew up in Ibadan - which was quieter and lovely, and when mum moved to fast pace Lagos - in the late 1970s - even then that City shocked. Soon afterwards - I came here to Britain as a student in 1981, but would visit mum of course. Then when I lived in Nigeria from December 1987 to December 1990 - I found it difficult to adjust, because I missed sleepy, beautiful Ibadan and missed Britain. But Lagos was not THIS bad, despite it all. I have heard of so many new places since I left Nigeria in 1981. I returned a few times to visit my late mum, I was taken by car to Abuja and Jos in 1990 and they were beautiful. Very quiet! Reminded me of Ibadan, which I love so much! As I mentioned my last time in Nigeria was in January 1991, when I finally returned to Britain and have not gone back. Dear God! I hope Ibadan has not been ruined either.
I have heard that "Victoria Island Law School" - which I I attended in 1989/1990 - also no longer exists there! (I had transferred from London University to LASU then completed Law School). That transfer was never planned. I visited mum over the Christmas break (with an open ticket, and come January, I found there were no flights to return back to Britain in January 1987, and I missed the registration for my June Exams, and the earliest flight back was February or even March! So it was not worth it - so my 'holiday' turned out to be a return home. So finished my Law studies and came back to Britain. It was during that period, I worked in the Law Department of the Head Office of mum's Bank during the Holidays and LOVED Marina! Whilst at Law School I also did my 'Attachment' at the Chief Magistrate's Court near Tinubu and Broad Street, (I cannot remember the exact name of the street) - Hence I was hoping to catch a glimpse of that, as I watched this video. I was also hoping to catch a glimpse of the Branch of mum's Bank in Broad Street - when I finished my 'O' Levels in Ibadan in 1979 (the year mum moved to Lagos, from Ibadan), I did a mini holiday Job at that Branch. So I was hoping to catch a glimpse of that Branch. I didn't recognise Broad Street and was desperately trying to see if that Branch Office - is still there - instead all I saw on Broad street were people milling around! There was barely any street left! That road used to be beautiful too!! Where are all these people going?!
I am still staggered at the cost of things, I hear people talking in Thousands of Naira, for little things that were under a Tenner!
Our country is wealthy: Oil; mineral ores; agriculture - God blessed that Nation - But it does not seem to be going to the infrastructure of the Nation and this saddens me! I am in so much shock and deeply hurt at what I am seeing. I pray the Government and Local Authorities see these videos and do something about sorting things out ASAP. How can they want Tourists - and the Country is in this state! It is horrifying. If I a Nigerian (now British) is embarrassed to show people this video, how can I encourage others to go visit - when I myself will not want to visit after this.
I don't mind people milling around if they want to - Its a market - But for God's sake - those streets need tarring, fixing, cleaning etc. I am so ashamed!😢
My prayer is that the Ibadan I grew up in (in the 1960s and 1970s), is still lovely. I grew up in Old Bodija (mum rented), then moved to New Bodija, where mum had now purchased her new home in 1977. New Bodija was full of greenery, trees with very few houses. Old Bodija also had greenery and treelined roads but was more built up and established. I LOVE Ibadan.
I have tried to find RUclips Videos to try to show me Ibadan, but they just show roads, driving past buildings. God I pray Ibadan is nothing like Lagos now, as it never was. I was driven round New Bodija in 1990 and I could not believe how built up it had become but it was still a nice area. I would be VERY upset if that too is now filthy and Old Bodija etc as my heart will always be with lovely quiet Ibadan. The good thing was that although New Bodija, was a bit more built up since the last time I saw it in 1977, it was nice and quiet. I would be gutted, and actually weep, and weep and weep, if Ibadan has changed for the worse like Lagos CLEARLY has!
those sellers are making it more difficult to move they are blocking the road with their products
hey, just here at the same time :)
yes that is right, most of the informal sellers are causing the traffic here
I bet there's a lot of Lions there.johnnyGarza
i don't get it
First again 🙂.
Second! here then :) thanks a lot Oga
Are they paying bills to stay on these streets?
yes they do pay, even the people on the road side have to pay someone....
You sabi lagos well well.
I hope you've gotten your Nigerian citizenship and I pray president Bola Ahmed Tinubu to appoint you France ambassador to Nigeria
I want to be naija ambassador for all the world, not a political ambassador, but a human one, show the world the beauty of the people and the country :)
thanks a lot brother !
just like india
i feel indiaz is a lot worth in big cities
What is the largest gas station operator in NG?
I am not sure, I don't know much about business here
@@Ludo_Liu but where do you fill up your bike most often? Within Lagos and anywhere else?
in Lagos, there are plenty gas stations
Unnecessary traffic because more than half of the roads are been using as street markets
yes that is part of the problem, you are right
Pathetic 😢😢
hope you don't speak about the guy on the bike
@@Ludo_Liu lol 😂
Thanks
thank you very much for your support ! this is definitively help !
Well-done for the videos. Very interesting and eye-openers. Can l ask a favour? Can you help support the needy, as you go around and about, doing your clips? I mean anyone on the streets who look helpless and no hope of food? You can tell the food sellers to give them food and then pay or alternatively, give them something? If you can, l will be more than glad to send a token for this purpose every month for this purpose. If you can't, not to worry. God Almighty will continue to reach out to all in Jesus Name. Stay blessed.
I do that in my daily life, when i go out and spend 1000 for me, mostly I spend 5K extra for other people, food, drink, clothes, toys... I even encourage my daughter these days to give the toys they don"t use.
It is difficult to show this online, cause, first it is something i do for me, secondly because people would jump on the occasion to say i do this just for the views... However I do it everyday because this is the way people leave here also. those who can have to help the others
Yes l noticed that. The reason l proposed supporting this good cause. Just to help the underprivileged. Thanks.
