I really like this rendition of Ermac. His abilities are less like just psychic powers and instead everything about him is much more ghostly/zombie-like, which is cool as hell.
Now he truly feels like an army of souls
because its not ermac anymore, its a necromancer now.... great character idea but horrible ermac.... i wish it was a separated character

Im so glad they didn't forget Mavado, 3D Era is when I started my MK journey, its awesome to see them getting so much attention.

Yea agree, like this time he has more of like the zombie vibes, leaning pose & the animations too are like he's like just throwing his limbs and smoothly readjusting back, like a corpse. And the ghost are a nice addition too, unlike just the green energy... relates more to his lore/origin. Looks sick, but I haven't played this game and probably won't. This is the only MK that I've skipped.
I’m liking how they moved him into being more soul/ghost based than in previous games. Also gives him more of a necromancy vibe now that Quan Chi’s become more eldritch

So I think we can all agree that they just fixed the entire design of the new Ermac by giving him his mask back.
Pretty sure they planned for the mask all along, they just wanted to showcase his face when it goes from spooky Ermac to nice and pleasant Jerrod.
The least they could’ve done is give him the mask during the second time you have to fight him.

Wow this time Ermac has a ton of moves. Anyone who mains him will probably be terrifying to play against.
As a new player, I hope the buttons feel good for my play style. He looks really fun and can't wait to play him. There are other characters I like (Kitana, syndel, etc.) that look fun, but I can't get used to.

Mavado was my favourite character as a kid. Seeing this on my 37th bday made me feel 14 again. They did my boy justice. His kameo moves look so fun.
watching him T-pose for a second was the funniest thing in my opinion

This Ermac is SO GOOD! I'm glad most of his moves from the Story Mode were only placeholders, now we've got the definitive, and his mask is amazing. Can't wait to see the other ones he has and his skins!
And Mavado was one of my favs from the 3D era, so happy he returned as well.

Nice seeing Ermac after seeing the story mode is awesome and in intro is really cool with the ghost jusr like Kenshi
Wish they leaned into the skull design, like the skull could be held together by his green magic, and along his body it’s like sinew and muscle held together by it morphing into his actual body

Mavado's fatality is an upgrade to the original. Looks cool!
Ermac seems to be more like a Susano than he does as a Telekinetic.
He's supposed to be a body composed of hundreds of warrior souls, so that's why he's summoning souls more often in this game.
What is susano?
