If you go by pincode yes it belongs to Dakshina Kannada district but as per Karnataka eco tourism site it belongs to chickamagalur. You can book online through this site as well www.karnatakaecotourism.com/dashboard

Just book 1 bro both are the same but the route might be different .
There are 2 routes. But just book to bandajje falls it should work.

U Park the car In Ranijhari..., from Ranijhari to Fort 4Km.... From fort to Bhandaje Falls 5-6 Km... Super place visit once👌

You can trek even now i believe. But best time would be from September-December.
Its not in chikmagaluru distc it's in dakshina kannada distc
