She was 17 when she recorded this. If you want to feel her voice range, the cover song "脳内革命ガール" is the best choice, it's so amazing that it's hard to believe it's the technique of a 17 year old. Metal musicians will love this song
Japanese have a hard time expressing themselves emotionally in public, so this song made a HUGE impact, and was an instant hit. It was being sung everywhere in karaoke that year. A very STFU and leave me alone -song

Many people, especially from overseas, mistakenly believe that this song deals with social issues but it's about "Chuni-byou 中二病." Chuni means "2nd year in middle school," byou means disease or syndrome. There's nothing more lame and cringe today than singing about those stereotypes straightforward and seriously. People in Japan who don't get the true concept find this song lame and hate it. She doesn't show her appearance. "Chuni-byou is a slang term for the excessive self-consciousness and behavior characteristic of adolescence. Specifically, it refers to unnaturally mature behavior, an unfounded belief that one is special, or a complex."

I like watching anime reaction videos from overseas and it seems that “chuni-byou” is a common word among "weebs" so I assume it's originally from manga/anime culture. -Tries to act like everyone around him expects him to act. -Perfectionists who do nothing. -Has arrogant and grandiose ideas (and delusions). -Cannot say "no." -Confuses clinging with affection. -Easily paranoid. -Lack of facial expression -Can't have fun or play. -Pretends to be something he is not. -Averse to change. -Craves approval from others and is lonely. -Has a predilection for self-punishment. -Depressive and helpless. I don't know what they call it in japan, but Ado is one of the singer that didn't reveal their face. There is many of them in japan and they usually either don't have a MV (just the sound track) or use animation for their MV like Ado. So to your question. No, Ado never actually reveal her face and probbably never will.
"Utaite: (歌い手) is a Japanese term for people who cover previously released songs and post them on Nico Nico Douga and RUclips under the utattemita category. The term "utaite" is unique to Nico Nico Douga singers, making it different from Kashu (歌手), which means "singer" in general." Though Ado has clearly moved well beyond this I believe this is the world she came from. I wonder if there comes a point where her celebrity is so huge that maintaining the secrecy becomes to much work?
@@highjynxx Exactly, but that usage is like Internet slang, and the word "utaite" itself, like "kashu", has always meant singer as well. (BTW, the literal translation of the category term "utattemita" (the subject is abbreviated, as is often the case in Japanese) is "I tried singing". It seems to be usually translated as "me singing".)

Everyone, Ado didn't write this song! Didn't you see the credits? It's written by Syudou!!!🙄🙄 Ado is doing one of the many, many covers. Btw, go check out Syudou.
I think you might like the piano version even more (possibly). She absolutely tears it apart: ruclips.net/video/G_jdDwi3Otw/видео.html
Imagine getting hundreds of millions of listens on your debut music at the age 18-19, goddamn.
not ado n syudou making ado's first original song a disstrack to society💀
Ado hasn't revealed her Face yet
Nemophila did a cover of this song, too. Mayu's good, but there's a HUGE difference between her voice and Ado's.
the best part is when she says shut up (in english its shut it shut it shut the f#*k up
can i ask for suisei phony cover next,thanks....
Really? Wow... totally different than what I read. So, what is she saying about the middle school and disease then?
People in Japan might find it cringe. But everything she says is correct. They are the ones who are wrong. Even Ado herself probably.

It's not a real disease but a mentality that middle schoolers in a rebellious phase tend to fall into. The girl in this song is a new employee but still have those childish delusions. It's rather "adult children." Below are the characteristics of adult children.
-Cannot say "no."
-Confuses clinging with affection.
-Easily paranoid.
-Lack of facial expression
-Can't have fun or play.
-Pretends to be something he is not.
-Averse to change.
-Craves approval from others and is lonely.
-Has a predilection for self-punishment.
-Depressive and helpless. On the other hand, they are prone to psychosomatic disorders and addictive behaviors.

She sings, "I was an honor student since my childhood. Before I realized, I was alredy grown up."
@@Dragon-Believer Maybe it's correct in your society/culture but do not apply your values to our society. Your way of thinking is not the world standard. Read my reply to Champ.
@@kengo7273 what language are we speaking? This isn't Japan.
What i love Minor's?
If you enjoy Japanese female voice singers then you should react to Overlord ed 1
Crime and punishment cover
It means Usseew (noisy) in Japanese, not Ussiiwa (cow ring).
Usseewa is the Romanization of Japanese, not English.
Usseewa is 4 syllables: U sse e wa
This is a POWERFUL way to criticize the toxic culture that emerges from uncontrolled capitalism.
Will Stetson's English cover is almost as good, but this is still superior.
Dramaturgy by Eve, you must see
I'm not surprised the song had been seen as Controversial. In Japanese warkaholic culture a song like this?
I mean the song is literally Snapping & verbally chewing your boss out for All the corporate BS you got put through.
u want more darker try ( useewa piano version )
She has shown her face during live performances
I think Icherry Covered Song is better
She was 15 when she made this song
I don't know what they call it in japan, but Ado is one of the singer that didn't reveal their face. There is many of them in japan and they usually either don't have a MV (just the sound track) or use animation for their MV like Ado.
So to your question. No, Ado never actually reveal her face and probbably never will.
"Utaite: (歌い手) is a Japanese term for people who cover previously released songs and post them on Nico Nico Douga and RUclips under the utattemita category. The term "utaite" is unique to Nico Nico Douga singers, making it different from Kashu (歌手), which means "singer" in general."
Though Ado has clearly moved well beyond this I believe this is the world she came from.
