Hard to believe this is a 20 years old game,it still checks all the boxes even after all those years.
Made back when Blizzard had developers, not just management outsourcing everything to Malaysia
Yeah, I will probably stop by and play this game every couple of years or so as I've been doing for the rest of my life.

Yes they made it very good. However, could you imagine if they invested in a Warcraft 4 back in 2015? Like new hero for each race and 3 more tavern heros. Also, 3 new units per race and more neutral units to hire and more items to buy. But after wc3, WoW became all the rage and attention given.

It always amazes me how you manage to turn around even the worst of situations. Btw it would epic to go full attack speed MK and stunlock enemy heroes with SB + bash. Opponents will be furious.
@@kilianbauer3942 nah, he definitely could lose some games in that scenario. I mean, even in this video he loses the first game. For example, some full harass guy would come to his base and wreck the eco.

Blood Castle against Human and get Mountain King with Unholy Frenzy cranking up Bash.
It really speaks to the prevalance of tower rush strats, that a blade bat cheeser is preparred and knows how to respond :D
Tower rush defense is one of those things you can't really avoid learning through bitter experience.
@@horsemumbler1 it's kind of a scholars mate of warcraft isn't it? You need to loose to it once or twice, win with it once or twice and then once you understand its mechanics, you just know.

Next one : IRS strat : cut access to any gold source . Use wolves and the alchemist and any other unit able to generate or cease gold .
Bonus point make allow the ennemy to access gold and mine only if paid by items .
That's mean tho ... The ennemy has to be a salty one .
I'm not totally sure what you mean. I'm curious though. Do you mean grubby tells the opponent he can use the mine if he gives him items as payment? That sounds far fetched
@@danieldaponte1819 probably far fetched yes , well ... Lock the ennemy out of his base when he is creeping , and can't access his mine / gold , unless he pays Grubby with items ... Well it's just a bad idea I guess it wouldn't make sense , cease X items to let someone access his gold ... No one want to play IRS simulator.
@@HappyGuyPassingBy If grubby can lock down the opponent's income, and the opponent's army can't stop him, i would imagine thats gg and the opponent will leave. Also, at that point, why try to sell him a solution? That's gg already

Does the game really still have maphacks even today and was grubby serious about the first guy using one?
I'm not sure. My assumption is that grubby would know human can fast expand with archmage, footies, and militia, and so he would park his peons in a less commonly used area, to avoid being seen. If he did that, then the guy could have been maphacking or something, or somehow got lucky moving his footie there. But if grubby had his peons where the human would normally travel, then that was his own misplay
It could also be that he sent that footie to scout
he wasn't serious and people footie scout that area up to your base on Autumn Leaves quite often.

The peon block at 7:50 is the reason why I reduce Collision Size in my maps.
War3 is without a doubt legendary but even legendary does not mean no flaws.
@@proxyjan if you wanna talk about how real that was then Peon is literally 1/3 the size of the BM =))))
But honestly speaking, there was some moments in which the path had enough space but the BM refused to move just because of his large collision size.
32 is too much for a unit with the size of the BM.
28 just makes way more sense to my eyes.
For example at 7:52 7:53, there was more than enough space to move.
You can clearly see that but oh well, that's how we get an epic Peon surround XD
so youre unable to micro and want it easier, understood.
