5 Reasons NOT To Homestead Or GO OFFGRID
Hello beauties! Welcome to Maple Monkey Homestead! Thanks for checking out the channel and seeing what's happening around the homestead.
In todays episode I have put together 5 reasons not to homestead. Ive always heard of people giving their fairy tale stories of going offgrid or starting a homestead and it definitely isn't realistic for everyone so I came up with 5 reasons not to homestead.
Now don't get me wrong, I think everyone should homestead or be offgrid to one extent or another, we need to start being in control of our houses and foods again like our grandparents and great grandparents were.
Homesteading and offgrid living can be fairytale living at times but that wasn't the case and still isn't the case for me and my journey, not to say that it can't be done but once you start to dip your toes into the water of homesteading and offgrid living then you start to realize some things that might not have been so clear before.

# 1 is probably the best point. #2 its doable , no difference in buying a home in this day in age. #3 nothing new here like number 2….thats life in general. #4 yes more your responsible for but rewarding when accomplished. #5 i think most would realize that shitting in a bucket is a reality if they are even considering this……# 6 not to why not but why ….you love it and are doing it… Thanks enjoyed….

Thanks so much Margie! The lifestyle has been romantised so I'm just trying to be real :) Not to say ya can't have both, but it's not all sunshine and rainbows as alot portray
