jaycrabs420 I mean idk. Taylor has a lot of skill, but Adam has him beat in seat time and aggression I think. They’re typically really evenly matched, but in terms of fd judging, I think they would favor Adam for the fact the he likes to be unpredictable and toss in crazy high speeds and angle where others struggle to do so. Don’t get me wrong, both amazing drivers, Taylor just seems like he’s a little more reserved and calm behind the wheel
From what I've seen, fd judges almost never favor unpredictability. Consistency and following line is key. I've seen them dock points for a reverse entry. Aggressive follow is good, but in competition, unpredictability is a bad thing
Cody Van Note well, I was literally going off of what they said about Adam at his run in Texas when he chucked massive angle and put the rear on the wall... they loved it... nobody else was really able to hit that point like that... they want aggression in the runs... they literally judge off of high speed/big angle, which typically translates to an aggressive driving style

I'm working on it! Just so hard to make time, and clear mental room for it while planning builds, ordering parts, planning out events, ordering tires, filming, editing. It's a lot to keep up with sometimes. lol I need to learn to let people help me.

muriatic acid is amazing for cleaning out fuel tanks. Can get it at Lowe's hardware. And water to neutralize it, just be careful with the fumes

Astounding camera work... I know all the effort and time editing multiple angles adds to editing. Just want to say thanks BEFORE I commented on the driving... you 2 killing it. Thanks for sharing and bringing us along.
Thanks man! I try to get a bunch of angles to keep things interesting and it’s fun to see from different spots around the car stuff you might miss otherwise. It does take forever to go through all the footage and keep track of 4 cameras chronologically though.
@@Taylordrifts Holy cow... I don't think I realized it was 4 cameras... Damn My last video I used two and I was kicking myself as to why I had done that merging the footage. But at least for me it allows me to bring folks in closer to get a better look at what I am cooking/preparing so it's easier to see what is happening. In your case the multiple angles are KEY all of the different perspectives make the video WAY more dynamic.

Next if someone buys it you think it's so ppl can use the land for drifting? Hell no,it's deemed residential so could never be a track plus they would make 100x more it being a housing subdivision rather than drift track. I'm sry but It's good just as it stands tbh.
ClutchkickPJ I never said anything about it being a public track. Using for personal use would still constitute it as a residential property. A tractor with a brush mower would make quick work of that grass. And the property will never be sold and developed as they wanted too. The roads are destroyed and would need to be replaced if someone wanted houses there.

I had a S10 with the 4cyl that had 5psi of oil pressure at idle...with straight 50w...sometimes on really hot days I had to hold the clutch and brake and keep the throttle on to keep the oil light from flashing. Truck survived daily driving like that until I could afford a replacement. As long as the pressure is high enough when you're revving it, they can last a while.

That 5.3 just takes a beating and keeps on ticking 🤙🏻
i have a feeling that the stock oil pump is expanding with the heat (thermal expansion) and this opens the clearances and lowers the pressure. also, if it is revving above 6,200 RPM (i also imagine sustained high RPM's as well) it will suffer from cavitation which will aerate oil and further lower pressure/lower pressure. This is why the ZO6 Corvettes (C6 specifically that i know of) uses a dry sump from factory to get the 7K redline.
I would recommend moving to this (www.improvedracing.com/oil-pumps-mechanical/melling-m295-standard-volume-standard-pressure-ls-oil-pump-p-495.html) if you do replace oil pump if you want to keep it as a simple seat time stallion and not transfer to a dry sump
there is something completely therapeutic about watching you flick the steering wheel like that. I could watch this for hours.

Really nice, full interior cars are awesome to have, but gutted and beat up cars are a complete different world. Its so fun having a car you dont really care if you run it off track or wall tap it or get some battle wounds. You can take a beater and really test your absolute limits with throwing them around.
Yes exactly! I can’t get away from it. I like having a nice looking car but I love the way it feels to drive a car you don’t worry about aesthetically or mechanically.

LZ seems pretty adamant that he’s staying Pro 2 again this year even tho he qualified for his Pro 1 licence, so it’d be rad to see you both on the podium. Taylor you'll probably be amazed to know this if you don't already. But LS engine minimum oil pressure requirements are 8PSI at idle then a 10PSI increase per 1000RPM increase. But of course that's minimum numbers not healthy motor numbers. And probably not meant for bashing hahaha. Stoked to see the giveaway outcome of the car man! I'll be buying entries for sure! 🤘

As much as having a beater car to thrash around in is awesome and a lot of fun, I would love to see you build a pro2 car man! You’re an insanely talented driver and driving in the pro2 level with other talented drivers I think would really show everyone just how talented of a driver you are and I think you’d do really well and become an even better driver! Definitely continue to push for that goal man!

Dead horse & won’t heal a damaged engine. But 0w40 has about same viscosity at 240F as 5w30 at 210F. So if you want higher oil pressures at 240F then use 0w40 or 0w50

@taylor My LS swapped s14 did the same thing with the oil pressure. Added an accusump and an oil cooler. Been running strong going on 3 years

Get the pro-2 car running, driving and stopping. Use it as a beater car while you build another motor for it and replace the panels when needed. Idk about Florida but vettes are everywhere where I live

Pro 2 would be sick but - it would take alot of winning to offset the stress of competition. It will be hard to compare that fun to a beautiful 60 degree day sliding around with the homies with no stress.

I think you need to do pro2, you'll kill it. Corvette sounds like a good option, especially if Ben's really going to start parting out corvette's. Always good to have a parts store in the garage.
check the o ring in the pick up tube. if theres nothing noticebly wrong with the motor. those 5.3s are known for the o ring being bad and dropping the oil pressure. if you leave it youll end up getting some lifter tap but thats cause itll get really lowww oil pressure
It’s got a new o ring and a pickup tube brace so I doubt that would be the cause.
coming from an FC owner the fenders are stupid hard to find i actually just sold someone the one that you need or else i’d give you a good deal🙃 but the headlight covers are easy to find i have one if you need it
FC drift missile all the way. Pro drifting i think takes the fun away. Do what ever you want but keep drifting fun and don’t let it become like a chore to be done.
Front overfenders are basically a full fender find those to match the rear
