Thank you so much for sharing this video to us. This is just what I needed to see. My grandfather passed away 5 years ago and out of nowhere, I got this interest in learning how to restore and ride his 2008 Honda Goldwing Trike. It was almost like I heard his voice when your grandfather said, "This is the bike that I plan on leaving to my grandson because I know he'll take care of it." Almost made me tear up lol. Sending much love to you and your family!

Sweet vid for sure but what is it you are supposed to be warning us about before buying a trike? Did I miss it?

Gerday mate, Crikey, How I wish I lived in the USA right now. I want that bike. I know there is no way but, hey, we can dream. And such a beautiful dream. You & your Dad must be proud. I certainly would be, thats for dang sure. Dont worry mate, I'm just a bit jealous. Mu Dad was an American who married at the end of WW2. Dad was a full time member of the United States Army Air Corps, a Staff Sargent who in peace time had been sent to the Boing School for Aeronautical Engineering specialising in the B 17. He was stationed at Hickham Field on December 7, that infamous day where he lost a lot of close friends. This made him the most qualified NCO and therefore was the leading Mexhanic Engineer to be sent with the very first batch of B 17 to be sent to Australia. When he left Hickham field, as per regs, no ammunition was to be carried in the bomb bays, all the other guns were fully armed & ready, just no bombs so .... Dad being Dad, he loaded up his BSA motorbike, as it was the flight crew transport, and brought it with him. Anyway too much info, it's just that when I finially decided I was going to chance giving Mum a stroke and get a bike. Dad came awake and together we proceeded to go get a 125 cc little honda. In Australia we have to be restricted to under 250 cc for the first year, so thats why nothing big, yet. Well we had a blast. Dad had a bike licence never having sat any tests. The police in Townsville simply gave out drivers licences to any and all legal aged Americans. But of course everybody was over 18, afterall they were in the Air Corps. He would have loved your Dads bike. He would never want to own one, but I do and if I had ever gone to the States, Id have bought a Harley, but never did go. My brother went for around 4 & 1/2 years which gave him American citizenship. Anyway rambling. So nice, just beautiful. Thankyou. Peace out. Wayne

Beautiful story. I hope you’re able to get one some day. I’m hoping this bike never becomes mine as I’d like my grandfather to be around forever.
