First of all this is a test ride, so this is not his bike. And it's totally fine to test it in different modes, the persons before him very likely did the same and maybe even worse that's why this bike may not be in the perfect condition.
Second thing is that this is a very technologically advanced bike with ride by wire and dct, so this bike literally will not allow you to ride it wrong.
And after all this is a motorcycle, so if you want to ride it a bit sporty it should handle it.
It is 'throttle by wire' and he was using it incorrectly. Use of the paddle shifts can cause damage if you do not use them correctly. This person had not been using them properly. Good Rides
If you test a bike like this you have not any feeling for mechanical things at all. Kind of dumb idiots

@@rh611640 I had to stop after the first few minutes. I've had my DCT Bagger for 5 years and have never ridden in such a haphazard fashion with no regard for this magnificent piece of engineering. He is clearly clueless.
2 things I'd like to advise you on, check your transmission since it's very jerky, it shouldn't be that jerky on DCTs, the whole idea of seamless gear switching is to not feel the jerking on downshifts as well, another thing is, when driving automatic transmissions you have to feel when to accelerate and break based on the engine itself, this takes some experience, but when you feel that you're going to downshift, slightly release the break to have a smoother downshift and when accelerating slightly ease up on the throttle to get a smoother upshift. Other than that, love the bike, Goldwing is by far my favorite cruiser of all time. Cheers mate
He was shifting with the paddles thus not using the DCT.
Best motorcycle ever built, with on time maintenance you could literally see 800,000 miles made from that excellent machine.

Agreed very sloppy and haphazrd approach to a beautiful machine. I've had my DCT Bagger for 5 years and pride myself on smooth operation. That doesn't mean I baby her but the emphasis is on smooth operation whether on a deserted back country road or a crowded high speed interstate highway.

@@Therealmotocat Ok thanks! Since one week l own one of this bike (MY 2018, purchased with only 15.000 km on ODO) and can experiance how DCT works. After 1000 km l'am happy with the Crosstourer. Best decision after testing other touring bikes. DCT is awesome! Some different handling as my Indians in the garage and very fast. I enjoy it very much! Variety makes life sweet! 😊

Muss man die Goldwing DCT mit so untypisch hohen Drehzahlen fahren? Teilweise klingt das so, als ob die Goldwing nur einen Gang hat….

C'est quoi cette conduite, ce pilote est nul trop brutal , il exploiter la douceur du 6 cylindres. J'aimerais pas acheter une moto après lui, sa conduite est très fatiguante pour la mécanique, bonjour les frais d'entretien et la consommation doit être catastrophique.

@@ElasticGum My ears are bleeding , normaly the gearbox don't make any "clunch" it's the principle on DCT ... forcing the 1 by hand when rolling beyond 10 is prohibited , if you have any clunch when you're in Drive mode (full auto) , go to the concession, your gearbox need a reset, that noise is not normal at all (see europeen video)
@johnmadox I have a 2021 africa twin dct. It is a smooth as silk, up and down the box! This gw is clucking in all down shifts by the sound! Something very wrong! I'd get a dct reset done! It sounds like a manual boxer lump😂

Bestuurder kan echt slecht rijden, uiterst hoekig, abrupt, geen gevoel voor techniek. Motor wordt echt afgetrapt, ook met dat terugschakelen met te hoge toerentallen. Past totaal niet bij karakter GW. Zal Selling blij mee zijn....
