Ah! It's like the good ole days! ATO updates! I agree Marcin's writing is something that is sadly overlooked in ATO. The size of the story sounds incredible! I am excited about the KDM clone parts but it's the parts that go further that will hopefully make this an amazing adventure. Thanks for posting Jordan!
Thanks for walking through the update. I agree - I would want to keep the mystery of new games. And I assume after wave one they will reopen the PM for people to get the expansions. Would love to see you do an update on KDM and what is in the Campaign of Death and Gamblers Chest. I have 1.6 on order and see backerkit is still open so am tempted!

Hmmm, I'm feeling September but then I'm expecting November. It took Tainted Grail five months to start shipping (update #40) after releasing an unboxing video of the finished product in July (update #34). If we start seeing pre-production samples in May for ATO, I'm guessing we'll be around a similar timeline (even though Awaken Realms has a lot more experience). All baseless speculation at the end of the day. I just hope they do some extra quality checks with how crazy production and shipping must be right now.
I'm still hesitating on this one. Too many big campaign games coming my way. KDM, Oathsworn, Stars of Akarios...and still holding out for Sankokushin to launch.
The main reason I'm excited about ATO is the quality of Marcin's writing. The man has serious talent! My only concern is how well they balance the exploration/settlement/showdown phases. Each phase could easily overwhelm the others.
