Thank you, thank you, thank you for this recipe and also for the great information you provide. I made this soup today (after a recent flare) and it was absolutely delicious. Because I didn't have any okra (and I'm not a big fan of okra anyway), I subbed in a diced yellow squash. I also added a ton of fresh ginger because I LOVE ginger - and why not? So good! My husband loved it as well!
You’re welcome! I’ve really been enjoying okra lately and I hope you do too! You’ll have to let me know whether you agree with the nacho cheese comparison. Lol
Yeah I have to order it from Australia as well. Luckily this curried soup has so much flavor it won’t really make a difference. Just substitute 1/2 a tsp of salt for every tsp of fody soup base in the recipe. You could also use homemade bone broth to really amp up the chicken-y flavor. I also have a video for bone broth - I hope you check it out!😁
Hey Brittany this Ricky Cales your cousin do you have any good low sodium and any vegaterian recipes I need the low sodium because of my heart and the vegaterian because I’m trying to be more healthy I try not to put any bad or unnatural items and food in my system but it’s hard for me because I don’t know what to do help! Please thank you cousin
Hi, Ricky! It’s good to hear from you and see that you are trying to look after your health. Unfortunately, I don’t have a background in low sodium, vegetarian diets, but I think the best way to improve one’s diet is to cut out ultra processed foods. This will eliminate a large portion of salt, sugar, and chemical preservatives from the diet. And while I think veggies are great, I believe they should be consumed in conjunction with high quality, unprocessed meat and a moderate amount of healthy fats to round out a balanced diet. Hope that was helpful.❤️
The low FODMAP diet was developed for people with irritable bowl syndrome and other digestive disorders. I don’t know if that’s something you deal with, but if it is, these recipes will likely help. I have a whole video about fodmaps if you would like a more in depth explanation. 👍🏻

@@gritandgroceries That was an interesting comparison! Your right that it really does fall on the spectrum between umami and spicy, closer to umami!
@@Ahmad-yi8yl It does, right!? Lol Phew! I thought I sounded like a crazy person.

Good recipe! where I live there's no Fody Soup Base, what can I replace it with?
