just found your channel 12/23/22. The yellow squash on Monash University s Fodmap app is called Squash, straightneck, yellow, raw. In USA it is called Summer Squash.
Oh wow! Yes, I see it on the app now! When I first did this diet they didn't have that data, but that one of the things I love about the app, they are continuously adding more foods! Thanks for bring that to my attention :)
I made this and it was everything you said it would be. I used the Fody chicken soup base and a store bought bone broth. You did not let me down. It was so flavorful, the thyme and lemon flavors work really well together. Thank you for sharing 💕 BTW…I was confused about the Instapot on the counter. I was hoping you would give instructions on an alternative method of cooking it, the Instapot versus the stovetop, but ultimately I made it on the stove and it was easy.
Hahahahaha omg yes, that instant pot is a total red herring! I think we were filming 2 videos that day - sorry for the confusion. I’m so glad you like this recipe! I hope you use it to nourish yourself and your loved ones for years to come!❤️
I am still trying to get my stomach under control. Could you or do you have a list of what I think you call "night shade spices" I tried to look up and they mention potatoes etc, not spices. Thank you in advance
Hey Nancy, nightshade spices are anything that made out of a pepper - which are nightshades. So that would be paprika, cayenne, chili powder etc. Peppercorns are okay tho😉
Heloo.. Britney. Thank you so much for uploading the Chicken Soup recipe. Appreciate your time. If possible please share with us some lowfodmap Xmas snaks/ cakes if you got any. I truly crave for Xmas fruit cake. But it got some highfodmap ingr. like Semolina etc. Advance wishes for Xmas for your family. Stay safe as much as possible. 😇😍😙
I’ve never made a fruitcake, but I can imagine it’s high FODMAP. I won’t have any Xmas treats coming out this year, sorry. But you should check out Becky Excell she makes amazing gluten free/low FODMAP desserts. But I will have a video coming out this week for Sausage and Peppers which I think is a great Christmas dish.
@@gritandgroceries That's totally alright. i know this year is not a good one for all of us. Xmas fruit cake is popular among British i guess and spread around the world later. my mom used to make it for every Xmas. it got variety of dried fruits and use brandy. So delicious. . Since suffering from IBS im little reluctant to try them now. I'v seen Becky's recipes. she does a great job. Have a safe Xmas dear. 😇😙. Awaiting for Sausage recipe. Thanks in advance.
Amazing dish! I made this for my family but mostly for my son with Crohns. So tasty and simple to make.
Thank you! I’m glad you and your family liked it, but most of all, I hope your son felt good after eating it.❤️
@@gritandgroceries He felt good which is unusual. 🥳
Yum, perfect for winter
Yeeesssss!
Teach me to make borscht this winter!

Yum another good recipe! You have become my go to on this fodmap diet
Yay!! That is my goal!
looks so good! :D
Thank you!!
I love that you caramelize your veggies first, I do that too with soups. It gives it so much flavor. Can't wait to try this recipe!
Agreed! Totally worth the extra effort!

@@gritandgroceries thank you
You can also label is at 1 pot soup, that will draw more attention from locals who eat fodmaps as well
I guess that is technically true, but are there any soups that aren’t one pot recipes??🤔
@@gritandgroceries haha
Didn't think about that
