For example, you are really good at your job, but you don't have a desire to continue. Don't leave your job for your desire and have some patience. And there is also this one: If you are not succeeding in your job, don't leave it and work harder until you succeed. Brother, If you are confused about which job you should take, there is a solution for that. I also practice it. it's called LUCID DREAM, called Arabic: الاستيحاره Before you sleep, You can practice it 7 days at least. How? Read this: Only First day, before you sleep, you will take 'ghusl', ablution, and then you pray 2 rakat. The first rakat read subhanaka, fatiha and kafirun and the second rakat read fatiha, ikhlas. After you finish your pray, say this dua: Allahumma enne astaheruka be-elmeka wa astakderuka bekudrateka wa as’aluka men fadlekal-azem. Faennaka takderu wala akderu wa ta’lamu vala a’lamu wa anta allamu’l-ghuyub. After you say your dua, dont talk if it's not too necessary, go to bed and turn your face to Kiblah and say: Oh Allah, if this job is better for me then let me continue but if it's not don't let me. Then sleep. And InshAllah you will see colors as a sign for good: white or green, for bad: red or black. If you dont see anything, continue until your heart tells you what to do.
Yes. I performed this myself and i saw so many dreams. If you see something good in your dream then it is good to do the job you want but if the dream is bad then you need to find other jobs.

I have been working as a design engineer for 1 year, im 21 years old and the first thing that suprised me was that im surrounded by people at least twice my age, and how unsociable my work is. As for my earnings, im earning little based on my skills and the experience that i do have, and im fairly sure if i applied myself looking could earn up to 2x more income. I dont have a permanant contract to remain either but to counter everything i have one reason to want my job because im able to do my zuhr salah in my lunchbreak. I use my prayer mat from home and pray in the clean quiet boardroom alhamdulillah. Most people at work also know this and they are perfectly comfortable with it too. I think often too about dawah and im afraid if i leave work there will be no one that could show anyone islam, and that feels like accepting their going to ruin their life and akhira and if im the only person who can make a difference maybe they wont have any chance. I have a difficult situation not sure what i should do...
Bismillah Al Rahman Al Rahim. Brother i will be really honest with you. If you think that your job doesn't intervene with your religious essentialities and you are really happy with your job and your heart tells you which way you should go then go after it. But i think Allah has given you a special responsibility that you need to go on this way right now. Remember that Allah doesn't put on our shoulders a responsibility which we can't bear. So go after this job and call to islam. Don't be afraid of anything. Don't be afraid of losing your job or anything else. Allah is with you all the time. Just be easy on them. Start by telling the beautiness of islam. When you tell them about it, Don't talk about the hardness, talk about the easiness. Talk about the hereafter, what we will become, our ending. Just go little by little. May Allah help you in your job and your Dawah.
It is not prohibited and if you will use less quantity then you are good to go. Don't make islam so tough everything which will harm us is already prohibited in islam already.
Its okay, sugar is not harmful if we take in moderate amount.. Even water too, if we take too much then it will be harm to our body.. Sometimes we need some sweet foods too..

parvez Hossain Salam Alaykum brother. If it's not approved in Islam, please stay away from it that you want to pursue. Even if you like it because there is a verse which says, "But perhaps you hate a thing and it is good for you; and perhaps you love a thing and it is bad for you. And Allah Knows, while you know not."
TheHumbleBeliever it's also neither approved or disapproved by Islam. It's ambiguous. And also the career choice isn't harmful to anybody or meself. And also I want to do it very much or at least, give it a try
An-Nu'man bin Bashir said: "I heard the Messenger of Allah say: "That which is lawful is plain and that which is unlawful is plain, and between them are matters which are not as clear. I will strike a parable for you about that: indeed Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, has established a sanctuary, and the sanctuary of Allah is that which He has forbidden. Whoever approaches the sanctuary is bound to transgress upon it, Or he said: 'Whoever grazes around the sanctuary will soon transgress upon it, and whoever indulges in matters that are not clear, he will soon transgress beyond the limits," Grade : Sahih (Darussalam) Brother i gave the hadith. parvez Hossain Assalamu Alaikum brother. Your question doesn't specify by whom it would be disapproved off. If it would be disapproved by Allah - then the answer it's clear of not doing it. But if you mean it's HALAL & yet people won't generally approve of it or such - Pray Salat-ul-Istikhara & seek His Guidance InShaaAllah! May He Guide you in His Path Always Forevermore, & Bless & Reward & Accept & Forgive Always Forevermore Infinitely & Grant you with the Best of both worlds & Grant you from Among The Highest & Loftiest Ranks in Jannat-ul-Firdous, Immediately along with your loved ones of His believers, without account! zohaib khan Yes, why not? If you follow all the rules, like the hijab, and maintain your modesty etc, there's no problem at all. Islam teaches us the best way to spend our lives, it does not restrict it :) So as long as you don't indulge in any haram acts, go ahead! all the very best :)
I have the same question, I live in the west and I am studying to be an accountant, but now I am scared to continue because it involves interests.... does anyone know if its halal or haram?
It's haram brother. I also had this question, so i started to listen to 'ulama and finding an answer. Everyone involved in the process of taking, charging, signing, and witnessing riba in a corporation (fx. bank), it's haram. May Allah (SWT) guide us.

Bismillah. Brother, I can understand your situation which is really hard for you but remember that if it's so hard then Allah should love you more. This life is just a test for us and we should be ready for every hardship. Know that after every hardship comes easiness. Just don't stop until you find the right job for you and don't listen to anyone who talks bad about you. I am sure that you will find at last a suitable job for yourself. But the most important thing is trusting Allah. Trust Allah and then everything will fall into place.
Forget about job look for a career. You can make a career out of any job of vice versa. Just find a way to be helpful people around you in getting better. Inshallah jobs will find you because you will be able to help them get better. If you boss look good because of you. He will make sure that you are around. take your criticism to see if you can improve yourself. There might be some error that shows up in you background check and you may not even know. If you are make a statement during interview and they find to be not true. So try to honest in interview and don't hide your weakness just try to make yourself better, If your rizq is not written from that place it will not come and if it is written it will come to you. People like to around people who like them so try to like people around you and trust me if they had not liked you they will if they are given time. If people don't like them because they don't know then it is their problem if they don't like you because they know you then it is your problem. Get to work on it. If Allah does not like someone and the rest of the world likes him it is not going to do any good for him. If Allah likes you then it does not mater. He will take care of you. Be patient.
people will give lot advise. you do what you wish to do. that was the moral of the video. dont be afraid of failure. failure will let you learn about yourself

I am struggling with an issue...should i leave my job, which is pretty good alhamduliallah to wear real hijab ? I mean i am wearing a scarf but i want to wear is abaya or khimar... my parents don't support me :( Please my dua.. May Allah grant us the best
If you not happy with your job, you might think again that there are many jobless people out there looking for job..so be thankful to Allah you have one. Unless if its really a burden to you, and you have another option, so go for it. Maybe its better for you. On hijab, or abaya or any muslims clothing according to Islamic guidelines, I can say this; you have a responsibility as a child to your parents, but Allah is much greater than anything. So you can obey your parents for anything they ask you to do, except those things that contradict your faith and iman as a Muslim. Hope thats helps. Jazzakallah :)
+H Shahrizal My parents made this point too. I mean there a lot of people dreaming to have a job like this or be allowed to wear even a scarf at work, so i am very thankful - Alhamduliallah. Don't really have another option, i would go and study so i can wear what ever i want. But the problem with the clothing is not the only issue.. I have to be there while they celebration christmas or they have gatherings when somebody has birthday and drink alkohol...all of this during the working time so i can not really "escape".. Barak Allahu feek for your response.
Subhanallah sister, thank you for sharing some of your difficulties. Im fylly understand where you are..the best I would suggest is to talk to your superior or management and explain your faith/believe as a Muslim..so that they dont misunderstood when you avoid such crowd or celebration. When they having celebration like Christmas or birthday at the office, just "be there" if you dont have any reason to give that might risk your job. Be there just to show yourself as part of the office mate, NOT celebrating especially Christmas. They can drink alcohol and do whatever they want, BUT you can just eat what is halal and drink what is not haram and leave after 15-30 minutes.. The idea is to show up in respect of the office community..and for the sake of your job. BUT not to celebrate or to support their actions. Whatever it is, Allah knows our true intentions. Hang in there dear sister.. Jazzakallah :)

This is advice for the young people do not afraid to do something. Failure is part of learning and growing to be an adult. Mistake will lead you know what is thing suitable for you. No one is perfect. So do not scare to make fault.
This world is a battlefield of trials and tribulations ...the Qur'an and sunnah is the weapons...it's like the computer language ...u put garbage in u will get garbage out and vise versa...in order to defeat and counter the trials and tribulations u have use the correct knowledge and sunnah and way to implement it the same way the prophet did
Kade Kevin Acting as such is not haram. There are so many Muslim movies that have been made. The actors there definitely did not get any sin because they acted. But in general, in the movies and dramas that we see, there is a lot involved which is deemed Haram by Islam. Like you may have to sing, dance, or even shake hands or touch a person of the opposite gender, or remove your hijab because that character mey demand it.. All that is not halal, and hence you can't do it. But that doesn't mean that acting per se is Haram. I did take part in a lot of plays/skits in school, but I always made sure that I took roles which would not compromise my hijab or modesty. Hope that helps. Asalam
Sumbul Bilgrami thankyou for sharing your thoughts,i really appreciate that. but the thing is,as a 20 year old university student, there's a very fine line between what would be permissible and what wouldn't,and consequently,it becomes pretty difficult to choose whether i should pursue my once-upon-a-time passion of acting, because whether i like it or not, actors sometimes can pretty influential people for a society(which is the only reason why i adore this profession)
Kade Kevin (This is a long answer. 😅) Yes, you're absolutely right. One never knows when you cross the line and lose your Iman. Satan is always looking for the right opportunity. But from what I understand, you don't have a passion for acting because of acting as such. But it is because of the fame, influence and power. Which is entirely okay. I'm not saying it's wrong, but it's only right if you like it as a side bonus. Ronaldo enjoys his fame and money, but he also has this undying love for football, which he replicates with his immense hardwork. From a career standpoint, I think it will be very difficult for you to reach where you want to, if your passion is the by-product, and not the profession on its own. Because there will be many days when you don't get that by-product, and that could lead you to quit if your passion for the profession on its own is not strong enough. Basically, make sure whatever you "dive into", is for the right reasons. As far as having influence goes, I don't think that's a bad thing at all. If a Muslim who has Iman, is someone influential, educated and respected, then that person's views will also be endorsed. So imagine if that superstar takes a stand against the banning of Hijab, then a lot of people will agree with him or follow him into taking that stand. I once read about a businessman who was paying the fines of the Niqabis in France. That only happened because he had the money right? So having money/fame/power is not bad at all, as long as you're in control of HOW you change the society. To be in that control, we need to start now. Make our Iman strong, become better characters, improve our Akhlaaq, have an understanding of our faith and educate ourselves in it. Ask questions and keep searching for answers. So yeah! Long, I know, but it had to be addressed. Hope it helps :)
Sumbul Bilgrami thankyou once again, from the depths of my heart, thankyou for spending such a long time just writing down that stuff but it's not the fame or money that i'm after,it's just that acting is just so much fun,and as far as influence is concerned, plays can be very heart-touching,in the sense that they can change perspectives, they can influence good in the society, movies are actually used as a tool for providing the right narrative to the society in most cases(and i'm sure you realise that as an indian, take amir khan for example) Assalm u Alikum with lots of rehmat and barkat!
Kade Kevin Thank you for the amazing thank you. Made those words worth it. Whatever you do, take the Name of Allah and ask Him and pray to Him to guide you to what's best for you, and through which you can make a difference in the world, and become an asset to the community. Aamir Khan, most definitely. He's done well with his influence. Or there's Bill Gates who's using all that money for research and looking our for the under developed. Let's hope more Momin/Mominas can be someone like that one day too! Tc! Kh!

The problem is that people doesn't want a worker who "wants to try and someone unexperienced"...they doens't give a chance that easily...:( So it is difficult to find something what you like to do...

Excellent speech!! I like the concept! Just a question, can I ask what he said in the last few seconds in the video? It's not in English, is it?
Joe Hsieh It's Arabic. He says May Allah bless you and me with quran which gave me and you benefit. May peace and mercy of Allah be upon you. (This are the key words to redemption.)

i'm lil confused right nw , is d sheikh saying i shall try till i succeed or take an alternate ?
some guys r good @math some @managing stuff so 1 can't go 2 other.....
whats d point ?
For example, you are really good at your job, but you don't have a desire to continue. Don't leave your job for your desire and have some patience. And there is also this one: If you are not succeeding in your job, don't leave it and work harder until you succeed.
Brother, If you are confused about which job you should take, there is a solution for that. I also practice it. it's called LUCID DREAM, called Arabic: الاستيحاره
Before you sleep, You can practice it 7 days at least.

I hope you're doing well.
Okay sir I will try to
I have been working as a design engineer for 1 year, im 21 years old and the first thing that suprised me was that im surrounded by people at least twice my age, and how unsociable my work is.

Sugar is not harmful.
Its okay, sugar is not harmful if we take in moderate amount.. Even water too, if we take too much then it will be harm to our body.. Sometimes we need some sweet foods too..
Who said sugar is bad for you???? We need sugar for energy, in certain amount.....fss

Can Ustad move to the UK and teach me please.
Just a question to ask. What if I want to pursue something which won't be approved of and it's not even a bad career. How should I proceed
parvez Hossain Salam Alaykum brother.
An-Nu'man bin Bashir said:
"I heard the Messenger of Allah say: "That which is lawful is plain and that which is unlawful is plain, and between them are matters which are not as clear. I will strike a parable for you about that: indeed Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, has established a sanctuary, and the sanctuary of Allah is that which He has forbidden. Whoever approaches the sanctuary is bound to transgress upon it, Or he said: 'Whoever grazes around the sanctuary will soon transgress upon it, and whoever indulges in matters that are not clear, he will soon transgress beyond the limits,"
Grade : Sahih (Darussalam)

Assalamu Alaikum brother.
May He Guide you in His Path Always Forevermore, & Bless & Reward & Accept & Forgive Always Forevermore Infinitely & Grant you with the Best of both worlds & Grant you from Among The Highest & Loftiest Ranks in Jannat-ul-Firdous, Immediately along with your loved ones of His believers, without account! can a Muslim, work as an accountant
while living in Uk?
i need urgrnt answer please
jazakAllah khair
zohaib khan Yes, why not? If you follow all the rules, like the hijab, and maintain your modesty etc, there's no problem at all. Islam teaches us the best way to spend our lives, it does not restrict it :)
So as long as you don't indulge in any haram acts, go ahead! all the very best :)
zohaib khan Wsalam 😊
I have the same question, I live in the west and I am studying to be an accountant, but now I am scared to continue because it involves interests.... does anyone know if its halal or haram?
It's haram brother. I also had this question, so i started to listen to 'ulama and finding an answer. Everyone involved in the process of taking, charging, signing, and witnessing riba in a corporation (fx. bank), it's haram. May Allah (SWT) guide us.
Is earning money as a sportsman (football player etc.) haram?

Ust plz I have a problem whenever I apply for the job I dont get .other they be interesting with me , but they can tell me come aon this day for orientation but by the time I reach home they call me and say dont come there is somebody else has taken u our chance.i have applied alot of jobs but I dont get.plz ustadh help me what can I do.also my fellow muslim I need ur advice plz.
So try to honest in interview and don't hide your weakness just try to make yourself better,
If your rizq is not written from that place it will not come and if it is written it will come to you.
Be patient.

What about being a lawyer?
I heard that business is haram in islam bcoz today there is nearly no business that doesn't involve riba. is it true?
thanks, sister/brother
Krisna Syahdanadarma of course not it depends upon the business
You start a business with no RIba. You don't have to use Ribba in it.

@@abs1781Hi! I'm wondering what are you doing now?
I am struggling with an issue...should i leave my job, which is pretty good alhamduliallah to wear real hijab ? I mean i am wearing a scarf but i want to wear is abaya or khimar... my parents don't support me :(
Please my dua..

Sir, I am a follower, your lecture Is incredible, but Sir give respect to the holy quran in front of you.
what about acting? in dramas and movies...
Kade Kevin
(This is a long answer. 😅)
Yes, you're absolutely right.
Sumbul Bilgrami thankyou once again, from the depths of my heart, thankyou for spending such a long time just writing down that stuff
but it's not the fame or money that i'm after,it's just that acting is just so much fun,and as far as influence is concerned, plays can be very heart-touching,in the sense that they can change perspectives, they can influence good in the society, movies are actually used as a tool for providing the right narrative to the society in most cases(and i'm sure you realise that as an indian, take amir khan for example)
Assalm u Alikum with lots of rehmat and barkat!
Kade Kevin
Thank you for the amazing thank you.
Tc! Kh!
