CONGRATULATIONS!! It varies from location but from my understanding it's the person who is making the hamburgers. "Line cook" comes from people cooking in a line, at the Carl's the line cooks are usually in a line at the Makeline where they have the cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, etc. Hopefully this helps :)
