A little, the keypress feel is largely because of the switch and the stabs in case of spacebar. Since it makes the spacebar buffy, it does improve the feel than a completely hollow spacebar, for overall improvement, mods and switch changes are a must!!! You can checkout my latest short where I change the spacebar switches...every switch had a different feel to it.
