Less is more in my opinion and I find the older the I get the more makeup I use makes me look older but I find the more minimal approach keeps me looking fresh and younger.

I have so many foundations now and honestly, after comparing a half dozen of the high end foundations, I have come to the conclusion that the application tools matter more than the brand of foundation. I am LOVING the BKB 101, especially. Now I have all your brushes and I feel they have transformed my makeup. That mascara is very nice . My always know it will work is my $4 Essence Lash Princess, I am shocked at how such an inexpensive mascara works so well, Essence has so many nice mascaras .

Every time I see something Merit, I want to go back in and make it work for me. And, I just can't. I really, really wish the complexion stick laid right on my skin because I LOVE the idea of it. Oh well. I know it works wonderfully for other people.

We recently went to Vegas , I went to the outdoor Outlet Store and scored on 3 Tom Ford Quad palettes, they were about 2/3 the cost of 1, I have been using the Sous Le Sable a lot , I picked up the Honeymoon one for my daughter who is getting married June 4th and the other one is Happy Mink .
I know extensions aren’t good for your lashes but I miss mine so much. I had to eventually get mine removed because after a few reapplications, my eyes got too sensitive and would swell up. I LOVED how they looked though-I could wake up, throw on some concealer + eye brow gel and call it a day. I never felt the need to even wear foundation and all the other steps, it was bizarre. ANYWAY, I love what I’ve tried from this brand so far. I have two lipsticks in Slip and Cabo. I need to try the mascara now, I adore a good tubing formula. Gosh, you look so glow-y and fresh with this no makeup makeup look. Love it!
I know I’m late here to finding your channel. I am 59 very sensitive skin. My cheeks easily get red and hot and I’m always being asked about it😭I switched all my expensive skincare to simply vanicream cleanser and face moisturizer to heal and get basic and it’s working but still have rosy cheeks with capillaries. Which gets me to your channel. I am a minimalist when it comes to makeup and just ordered some items from ilia and now I see this and wonder if I should return all that and go to merit. Such a quandary!!

I love this look on you Lisa, how was Mexico, I’ve always been a little bit weary about going to that place in the world, you hear some horror stories from people that have been there from Australia 🇦🇺, so I’m not sure if I’m game enough to travel there in the future once we start travelling again one day soon hopefully, I miss our overseas vacations, seeing our trip to Paris was cancelled due to the Pandamic back in 2020, to celebrate my 60th birthday but maybe we’ll get there one day before we get too old to plane ✈️ hop Lol 😂, I don’t want to be one of those travellers that are too old to enjoy the sites and do all the sightseeing that’s available, once that happens, we’ll start to travel around our own country and see the things we haven’t seen before. Lisa, that is a very nice quick, get out the door, look. Especially now that the Summer is coming and the sun stays out longer. No one wants to look over done in Summer. And congratulations on your eye lashes growing in. They looked great just after you curled them. I am glad they are growing in so nicely. BTW, How does the make up stick work on older women (over 50). I have the hardest time sometimes with foundation not making me look dry. I do spend a lot of time moisturizing and prepping my face. Lately my skin is not as bad. (Although it could be that we are out of Winter and the heat isn't always on blowing and drying out my skin). Thank you, Lisa. Those products look wonderful. I am particularly interested in that lip oil. :-)

Hi Lisa, I usually wear Thrive’s mascara, but if you get a little or a lot sweaty, I find it has come off on under my brow bone and below my eyes. Drives me crazy. I live in Florida, so it is impossible to not get sweaty! Out temps have already been in the 90’s some days and mid to high 80’s others. Any thoughts on what mascara to use? Thanks, Irene
Is there a trick to getting the Merit blush to last? I have it in Cheeky and it doesn't last AT ALL for me. In comparison, the MAC Go Play blush lasts all day with no setting spray (on bare skin or with foundation).

I liked everything except for the blush: it took you forever to blend it out and then you had to go back. There are better cream blushes out there that is faster, esp. if you ate doing a 5-minute look, such as Milani or Lys.
