You know when ever this happened to me I pulled the trigger to stop the pain of the animal. But each one of those stuck with me and after each one of those I asked myself: "Am I a monster?"
I never hunted unless I had to do it for a mission, I used up everything on the animal, skin, meat, carcass and all, I only shot animals that attacked me. And the worst thing I felt were when I failed to do a clean shot and had to hunt after the animal, just to find it whimpering and whining on the ground. This game really knew how to pull on my heartstrings, I wish I could save them, but I had to put them down, the whining is the worst for me, them trying to run away, just scared and weak. RDR2 is amazing.
True Sometime you can even see animals lying on the ground begging for help. One time I saw a moos lying on the ice floor and couldn’t stand up and was begging for help. I have that video on my channel
