    Great tutorial video. Your brand new pump came with two rubber seal rings, 4:45 the circular one goes to the thermostat, what about the other circular sea with a protruding tip, where does that seal go to ?

      Hi, thanks for watching. Aactually the one with the protruding tip goes to the thermostat as it has a notch for it (Mine was new so didn't need replacing). The other circular seal I'm unsure. As these are 'generic' parts I'd assumed not needed for this engine, or at least I couldn't find anywhere else that needed a rubber seal. Curious to know if you find out so do post back if you know! Thanks

    Please I need help, I had same Opel Corsa D 1,'2 petrol A12XER. I change waterpump, thermostat and cooling liquid but temperature while I drive are 105-110 c . is this normal operating temperature or not?

    • @junkendriven
      @junkendriven  Год назад +1

      Hi there. Yes 102-110 sounds about normal. The thermostat opens around 103oC (See here www.autodoc.co.uk/car-parts/thermostat-10195/vauxhall/corsa/corsa-mk-iii-d-l-8/33729-1-4#:~:text=Opening%20Temperature%20%5B%C2%B0C%5D%3A,Housing%20Type%3A%20with%20housing)
      So that operating temperature sounds normal and similar to mine if it's been ran hot/running a while.

      @@junkendriven Thank's man. I thougt that it is a bit too hot but car run's fine ignition is Ok and everything else. When i drive after a while temperature comes to 110 c then drop down to 104-105c. and no matter how log drive is temperaure is in that scale 104-110 c

      Oops, newton metres. Thank you! Also yes, bleed screw I've used but have often found it wasn't needed.

    Hi there, what’s temperature the radiator fan turn on?

    • @junkendriven
      @junkendriven  11 месяцев назад +1

      Hi, it's quite high on the petrol 1.2 corsa. 110oC from memory is when the radiator fan comes on so it's a narrow margin between thermostat fully open and fan on.

      Good luck mate, if you have working air con you can turn that on as it'll force the electric cooling fan on. If you have a decent scantool you can also switch fans on from there

      @@marcsaunders8130you can test it by disconnecting sensor by the thermostat

    Sorry, but you have little understanding of how this pump works, you shouldn't be advising others owners.
