Mi ha´ish - Chava Alberstein y Fito Páez - חוה אלברשטיין - מי האיש

Mi ha'ish (¿Quién es el hombre?), tradicional oración y canción del pueblo hebreo. Música compuesta por Baruch Chayat. En esta ocasión es interpretada por la cantante polacaisraelí Chava Alberstein y por Fito Páez (en segunda voz).
La letra corresponde al salmo 34, versículos 12 a 14, la cual citamos aquí en la traducción de Reina y Valera (versión de 1995, revisada por Sociedades Bíblicas Unidas):
12 ¿Quién es el hombre que desea vida,
que desea muchos días para ver el bien?
13 Guarda tu lengua del mal
y tus labios de hablar engaño.
14 Apártate del mal y haz el bien;
busca la paz y síguela.

Tremendous. The lyrics: Who is the man who values life? He who guards his tongue from evil, who seeks peace and pursues it.
The accompanying images show the beauty of the land of Israel along with some of many places Israel took during its war of aggression in 1967, and which it has held illegally ever since.
In short, the State of Israel has behaved on a manner antithetical to the man of the song, the man who values life.

Great video! Chava is not allowed to pray at the Western Wall depicted here, because of laws favoring religious fanatics. Other images here depict areas that Israel stole from the indigenous population. Meanwhile, the lyrics tell the listener to renounce evil deeds. Bravo! Very well done as an ironic comment on the colonialist State of Israel.
