DESCRIPTION IN ENGLISH: Godzilla may be a monster, but it seems different to me. He is rather a god. Control our world according to each order. And I will be the meat of the beast. I will be the host of Godzilla.
Because I want to be a god who is respected by people. I want to be the meat of this beast. And the fear of which one is wrong. I'm not a movie monster.
It's Goji. The law of good and evil. I will live in this beast. Because he is the only one who can help us.
There is no God.
Just me.
Goji.
This reminds me of godzilla singular point
Where the real godzilla is a god and the godzilla in the show was a mere puppet of him.
Maybe in this case “goji” is similar to ultima’s role in singular point.
Thanks for the English description

Haruo Nakajima, the original suit actor for Godzilla, played the character all the way up until the early 70s. He didn't die because of his work but he went through some shit. The suit caught on fire, he almost drowned, he would sometimes pass out because of how hot it was, and the original 50s costume didn't even have any way for him to see. I mean he's dead now, but that's only because dude was like 90.
Nakajima was Toho’s greatest suit actor warrior when it came to portraying Godzilla.
I was lucky enough to meet the man back in 2016; super nice and informative about Godzilla and playing the character, but it was just so much of an honor to be in front of one of my childhood heroes.
Also got to meet the Heisei and millennium suit actors as well; those guys were just as courteous and cool too! That’s one moment I’ll never forget!

The cut off roar playing at the end was so funny, honestly, this is super well crafted, but as a Godzilla fan, some of it just feels too funny. The old set photos being distorted, the way it describes the exact opposite of how Haruo treated the suit.
And yet, this is a passion project clearly, and I love that. Godzilla has such an innate horror to him, even just as an old movie that was filmed without proper safety measures. Absolutely fascinating, and I love it

I adore this. The Godzilla NES Creepypasta was always too outlandish to be scary to me, even though its been called one of the scaries. To me the scariest horror is the stuff thats almost possible.
Ive been thinking over the last few weeks how would someone even make a Godzilla Analog horror, but i could never find a convincing solution, which turned out to be deceptively simple. Very well done.
nobody thinks the nes creepypasta is scary. the reason it's so popular is because it's just a really damn good story.

So this is my first time watching and I have to say, thank you so much for doing something so God damn amazing and meaningful and impactful all from your phone. As a gigantic Godzilla fan, I am sorry to hear that there was a small crowd bullying you because they didn't like what you were making. But I can guarantee you that you're an inspiration. You have made horror with some deep meaning and that is very rare. Keep going please, you amazing person.
The original godzilla suit was made of ready mixed concrete and weighed 100kg, and was incredibly hot inside. So how this guy (supposedly not Haru Nakajima) willingly wore it for very long periods of time for days on end is some endurance
Finally someone here with sense
Also, the fact he's not even opening the mask is just totally weird, logically you have to open the mask just to breathe but you can still wear the suit on break.
lolz, you know it's fake,, right?
Ain't no fucking way it's 100kg
Honestly this is one of the best analog series i've seen, keep up this very nice work
God, that last scene with the distorted godzilla cry gave me chills
This is amazing work, I am always impressed and jealous that you put so much effort into these, wish I could make something this good, keep up the good work!
The vibe this gives off is a mixture of high quality analog horror and the sort of horror style used by Junji Ito in “Uzumaki”. In particular the aspect of “the human body deformed to fitting into an unnatural closed space” is something that was featured a lot in his works. I love how this starts with a seemingly mundane situation where there’s only a little bit of an oddity then progresses into something grotesque. Coincidentally that’s also a stylistic choice Junji Ito often makes for his works.
This is really amazing content, I never even thought of reimagining the horror aspect of Godzilla in such a way. It’s especially great because in his original conception he was supposed to invoke fear into the audience but that was due to his natural disaster level of lethality. Often in older works and even more in recent media he’s portrayed as “threatening” with his power but not “scary” on his own, even being a ally of humans at times. Presenting him as something to fear not for what he is capable of but because of what he is as a monster in his own right as you have done is something really nouvelle and is extremely praise worthy.
10/10
not to be that guy, but isn't that aspect from "the enigma of amigara fault"?
@@theredflamingo7102 It’s been used in other stories by the same author, the example you mentioned contains the most popular version though.

This is actually pretty cool, I thought I was gonna hate this, but the only thing that's annoying is that Godzilla will forever be known as "ThE mAn In ThE sUiT"
It’s really not the creators fault, it’s the “fans” tht ruined it.

10/10 start to an analogue series. There's so much good with this. This is such an original idea compared to other analogue horror series. I can't wait to see more.
I am so glad that I stumbled across this. I have been obsessed with Godzilla all my life. The idea of Godzilla analog horror is amazing to me since I used to watch the movies on old VHS tapes all the time. The suitmation trials was a great start but I think this series is the most intriguing one. Plus the idea of the actors fusing with the suits is horrifying. The fact that nobody can even tell whats happening inside of the suits adds so much suspense to the reveal. Brilliant work! I hope this series continues to grow.
The fact that this was 9 months ago, yet has become such a big creepypasta by now, shows just how great this analog horror short was. Nothing like those other random supposed "analog horror" crap where some dude suddenly jumpscares the screen with a loud ear-shattering noise without any context whatsoever, but has steady pacing, rising tension, and ofc great story telling which is quite horrifying. Love the short, keep doing what you are doing and never stop man

I was searching for a good analog horror, something that wouldn't make me go paranoid (even though it's made for scaring people) but those things doesn't allow me to enjoy a pure horror series because after that I avoid them and that's unfortunate. And, here I found it, the perfect horror analog. Sweet fucking hell, can you imagine being the costume designer of the Godzilla suit at that time? The horror and guilt you might feel upon witnessing the terror you'd brought upon the studio, let alone, the entire world as everyone saw how the man was now one with the suit.

post script...upon meeting Harou Nakajima and Kenpachiro Satsuma almost 20 years ago (i was a super happy little boy then), I almost jumped out of my own skin. Kenpachro said that I should try to be the next "man in the suit" because of my physical enthusiasm at the time. My dad told them how honored and happy i would be, and the translator then...translated. Harou asked me if i was in martial arts ( I had a tshirt that had Bruce Lee on it). I said I did and how much I loved martial art and samurai films (chanbara). He told us of how he worked for Kurosawa, how he was a judo black belt and an old school jiujitsu practitioner. The gentleman in the Kong suit ( as well as a few others) was a somewhat renowned judo player as well. Kenpachiro studied Shotokan karate, iado and Kendo, and judo too. They both stressed how important grappling was to kaiju and choreography, especially how the suits were built and worn, and how the supposed "animal" or beast would approach being a pugilist among other specie of monster. It was all so extremely interesting. Prowresaru is essentially what he was telling me what I needed to observe. Give a kaiju a background, an attitude, attributes they could utilize in combat, weakneses that would be used in the storyline to increase the melodrama, and ultimately the tenacity to show how destructive the daikaiju wouild be. They also explained that if you study a martial art's country of origin, you will find out so much about it culture and history, as well as language, politics, religion, and so on. That is something you can use in regards to communicating with other cultures, as well as applying it to the way you emulate a Daikaiju. Now granted....this is all fiction...cosplay for some, even. But it definitely becomes applicable in every day life as well.
"Martial arts and kaiju?"I wondered. That had to be the coolest thing I have ever heard. I never cared for grappling when i studied martial arts as a kid. That quickly changed when I started BJJ and remembered what Satsuma and Nakajima both told me. Judo and Wrestlling are also key. Combining all efforts have given me a wonderful sense of confidence, allthewhile still helping me retain my humility

I really like this series you’re making, what makes it scarier is that it’s not impossible for someone in a moist , heavily hot concrete suit to start growing in to it and fusing to it, it’s happened when someone sat on a toilet seat for too long that their skin started growing over it and fused to it, so this isn’t entirely impossible, which makes it scarier
This is somewhat realistic. There are real stories of people sitting or laying in one spot for prolonged periods of time; their skin fusing to whatever material, usually fabric.
People with certain mental illnesses are unable to take care of themselves and live in filth, never moving. They die once someone gets involved and tries to remove the person from said surface, their body rotting.
Well that really motivaties me to keep my room clean, and change my sleeping space once in a while.
