Swamp Thing is a great example of that, that show rocked - but executives pulled the plug before it had a chance to even finish a season.

Was playing Multiverses with my daughter. Just hearing his voice, along with the nice score of the game really made me miss him lots today. He was so good to my daughter when we met him. He did Batman’s voice and asked her for help to stop the Joker. Hearing one of my heroes do that for my daughter just blew my mind. A couple of months later, he died. 😔 RIP sir.

But in all that time, thanks to Kevin’s slip up, everyone knew that Rocksteady’s next project would be a proper Arkham game, with Kevin returning. It wasn’t his fault, but yep... it was basically an informal announcement.

For a long time, I didn't even know that Origins didn't have Kevin Conroy as Batman until 2 years after the game was released. Roger Craig Smith did a good job. I thought it was Kevin Conroy the entire time. I don't read blogs or posts or watch video game interviews or other media when a game is going to be released. While agree that every game should have Kevin Conroy as Batman, I'll also be the first to say that when Conroy steps down, the mantle should go to Roger Craig Smith based on his work in Origins. His Batman voice is the closet to Conroy's, hands down. Warner Bros. screwed up but not telling Conroy about Origins. Why do that?
Roger was great as Batman really but there is a pretty big difference from him and kevin and since he was playing a younger Batman that is a good thing but I could definitely tell the difference ya know?

I assume the reason they don't want things being announced early is probably because marketing's whole job is the find the "sweet-spot", where announcing it will hold the most attention, and have the most impact. That said, man we're blessed to have a guy like this in voice acting.

At one of the early Dublin Comic Cons has Kevin there but he wasn't allowed to do a QnA bit only Autographs. Warner Bros didn't want him to do a QnA in case things leak.
