So inspiring, my husband has exactly the same issues and it has impacted our lives significantly. We have been to multiple doctors (General practitioners, Physician, Neurologist, Rheumatologist etc.) and done a lot of tests (Brain and spine MRI, CT-scans, Nuclear bone scans, Lumbar punch etc.) with the same conclusion: Nothing is wrong.

What is the Big Sound that occurs. with each example of NUCCA treatment, rather like a piece of metal dropping suddenly? I've had these adjustments for a misalignment with vertebrae 1 and 2. It's very quiet, except for a gentle clicking sound inside my head at my ear area. This is only done after initial X-rays and pre and post checking points to confirm the things fell into place. One feels better immediately, and so clear headed! But that harsh sound in this video gives me the willies. Never had that happen. I'm highly sensitive and that would scare me off.
Hi Linda, that sound you are hearing is the clicking down of the headpiece not the person's neck. NUCCA is a different type of upper cervical technique that does not use a drop headpiece. The microphone we use for our videos makes the sound much louder than it actually is!
Is it painful? The snap was so loud it made me jump when watching it. Is there a doctor that does this near Hartford CT? My neck hurts on right side and have migraines with head numbness, ringing in ear and swollen eyelids....would this help me ?

The adjustment. That sound you are hearing is the headpiece clicking down not the persons neck. There are no doctors in Connecticut that practice the same technique I do which is the Blair technique. I have patients from CT that drive down. Blair upper cervical care is very good with helping resolve all the symptoms you described above!

Great question! That is the sound of the headpiece on the table clicking down, not the patients neck.

Dr I was experiencing neck pain for a few weeks and visited a well known amd qualified chiropractor where I live, he did some adjustments and unfortunately after doing so on my neck I got up and felt dizzy, it ended up that he ruptured an artery and in had a mild stroke.... Luckily I am OK and was in hospital for some time... My neurologist treated the effects of the stroke but no one has got to assist me getting to the initial issue being my neck pain... I am in serve pain and pumping myself with medication which mo longer works. I am now desperate and considering visiting a chiro to try and help me as physio therapy did not help either... Is it safe for a previously injured patient to do this again... It's two years later since the tear of the artery... Please advise.. I will appreciate your guidance

U keep needing adjustments u have a ligament problem concerning the ligaments holding c1-c2. Treat it with prolothetopy.

I had these same adjustments done when I saw a chiropractor who ran, and I quote, "an upper cervical specific clinic." Nevermind that my issue was chronic low back pain. He used the useless activator down there. Not only did these neck adjustments obviously do nothing for my actual issue, but they definitely didn't clear any brain fog or expand my rib cage or any other nonsensical placebo effect that a patient like this asserts. These adjustments are useless and are doing nothing. Any reputable chiropractor or osteopath, which I found as I continued to seek treatment for my back, will tell you the same.

Hi doc. Can subluxations in the neck cause intense brain fog to the point where memory is impaired? I’m 29 years old and otherwise healthy, besides dealing with headaches and neck issues the past 6 years or so. My last X-ray showed my neck part of my spine completely straight, maybe even with a slight curve in the opposite direction. Along with headaches, brain fog/out of it feeling, and memory impairment, my eyes are very sensitive to light and feels like there is a lot of pressure behind them. Thanks in advance!

@@edwingarcia9626 Every dr has a different treatment plan, it honestly depends on the severity of your case. I would have to see your x rays and do an exam to answer that question. I am usually 2 x a week for 3 weeks and then once a week for 6 and then i do a re-exam

After a chiro visit 2 years ago, i started with memory issues, creativity issues, brain fog, lack of clarity, feeling sometimes emotionally disconnected, concentration issues and not feeling like myself... and i really used to be sharp as fuck. Hello doctor this video was great. I am curious about my neck. I had a herniated c5c6 and a bulged c6c7 diagnosed a year ago. Went through all the physical therapy and made great improvements to avoid injections and surgery. With that said, I am having fairly regular dull pain in my neck and down through my back all on the right side which is the side the disc herniated to. Would the blair method be able to help resolve these issues at all? Thank you in advance for any info or guidance

@@adigorazde6672 Great Question. All upper cervical techniques are trying to achieve the same goal of removing the interference in the upper neck so the body can heal. I am a huge fan of anyone doing upper cervical work.....In my opinion I believe that Blair is best because it saved my life. Blair evolved from toggle so I think it is better in that sense but I do know some toggle docs that do amazing work as well. I also refer to NUCCA docs as well. The top upper cervical docs in any field are getting phenomenal results. I guess the message is: perfect your craft and the results will come no matter what UC technique you are doing.

ilmas ashraf I’m not sure I know what your question is but we only give Upper Cervical adjustments when the patient is out of alignment. These adjustments can hold weeks, to months to years. This patient holds his adjustment for months at a time. He fell out of alignment after a long trip so we had to give him an adjustment.

Thought you have to lay down for 15 min after adjustment?
JayR correct! We usually rest people on their sides for 5 min then rest them in our testing area for 10min. For Video purposes we got this patient up to speak on how he felt after the adjustment

Anyone you can suggest in the Pittsburgh area? I have a chiropractor appt tomorrow for my neck...I am terrified. Because I have read all about the artery stuff. But I most likely won’t allow the adjustment of the neck. I did schedule asking for an X-ray and maybe some other type of treatment to help give relief. I been going for hip adjustments for months since my hip came out of alignment from an injury and the pain before he fixed that caused me to pass out and hit my head off the toilet and or the floor. I had post concussion syndrome since January. I had cranial bone movement therapy done for that and ever since that which seemed to help a great bit my neck now has some issues, clicking noises that I can feel while tucking chin to chest and backup and then headaches off and on and pain in eyes with the headaches. Feel a bit dizzy off and on and just not right 😢 it’s been a longgggg few months of painful and scary symptoms and I just hope to be normal again! 😞

why can't this be a permanent result? why does he have to keep getting aligned chronically if this was a natural relief? cause natural relief means your body stays in position... what if the patient doesn't live in the USA and just travel for this specific adjustment and doesn't have access to it in his country?
Daniel Amsini that’s a great question. The Blair Upper Cervical adjustments can hold weeks, to months, to years! I held one adjustment for three years. This patient flies in from very far away, we only see him once every few months and he holds his adjustments very well. The goal of Upper Cervical Chiropractic is to give minimal adjustments with long lasting effects which is completely different then regular chiropractic. The healing is in the holding of the adjustment.

With NUCCA method they just press on your atlas about 5 times along the length with their knuckle it's not dangerous or scary if they know what they are doing there are no risks.

That is false. There are 8 different upper cervical techniques. Atlas orthogonal is one of them. This is Blair upper cervical. They both have the same goal in mind of clearing out the interference in the upper cervical spine. They both can fix atlas misalignments. I even have some people transfer over to me from atlas orthogonal.
As for the money making thing? Yes they both cost money lol.
