As you say, we have a chance if we stay disciplined. Blackburn doesn't score many, but they don't need to. Elijah is now getting chances and putting them away, so that's a positive. We look far better on crosses since Clark and Baptiste have been taking them. Alfie's crossing has been poor this season, considering he takes everything. I think he has a cross completion of 37% . Alfie has 4 assists and takes everything. Clark has 2 assists and has only had a few games to do so. A draw will be a great result, but you never know. Football is a funny game. COYH
We’re having this conversation again…Alfie has well above average compared to other players in his position. 37% is deemed as very good at this level. I think a draw is a must considering our position.
LewisWilliamsLTFC Lewis, if you have watched the games as I have and only missed one home game this season, you will know that his crossing has been poor. Crossing a ball onto the box and a someone getting a head onto it with absolutely no chance of scoring gets in his favour. Putting the same slow ball into the box is not good enough. He had 17 corners in one game and 14 in another and we didn't get close. Clark and Baptiste have both put pace into there crosses and it does not give a defender time to react properly. That is why since he has been out we are looking more dangerous from set pieces. I love Alfie, just as much as you but he is nowhere near where is should have been. We will see on Saturday if we get the opportunity what a decent cross can do again. COYH
@nicktomlin9137 I think your expectations are far too high. If he’s one of the best in the Championship and you’re saying his poor then I don’t know what else to say, if he improves the 37% and gets to high 40% he won’t be playing for Luton as another club will want him. Clark has 13.5% in crossing below average compared to other players in his position and Baptise has 28.6 which is above average. If only he could keep fit! My issue is Alfie takes everything which shouldn’t be the case it should be more than 1!
@LewisWilliamsLTFC That's my point. He takes everything, and Clarks states are only that low because he hasn't been taking them because Alfie has. I just don't follow stats. The eye is a major factor, and you can clearly see that Clark's are more accurate and with pace, which causes problems to defenders.
Good video Lewis - some of Blackburns wins, have been lucky especially against Hull. Hull had 14 shots and Blackburn 5, Hull 6 on target and Blackburn 1 (the goal they scored) Blackburn only had 41% of possession. I think Luton will win 2-0 I am quite confident. RE will play the same team as midweek I think to reward their effort. If he makes a change he will bring in Walsh for Krauss.
Great review again Lewis : I hope your 'draw' prediction is right . I fear another away defeat with 2-0 to Blackburn . You've highlighted how tight they are in defence and we don't seem to create many chances from open play : set pieces is our best hope but Blackburn are a stronger defensive unit than Stoke . Our forwards , although improving, have still some way to improve re clinical finishing and we still allow our opponents to create good chances
it will be a tough game for us blackburn and been on a really good run of form but dont score many goals. i can see them having alot of procession but not getting to many chances
1-1 draw not impossible. a win is not impossible but unlikely. i am concerned about the lack of subs, and tired legs after Tuesday. if we play 3 at the back, then i dont see much hope.
I'd happily take a point
If Luton put a shift in,,, 3- 1

Promise me you'll buck up, Luton. 😮

Come on Luton, get in where it hurts.
Optimist Lewis. Would take a point.
Cantwell suspended is huge
Found that out after I uploaded 🙃
Going quth a 1-1 draw, can't see us keeping clean sheets but we do normally get a goal
I think a draw would be a great result

In an ideal world it doesn’t make sense to play wing-backs.
No chance Luton keeps a clean sheets.
0-0?? The way we're defending atm I wouldn't bank on us conceding a couple
If I keep predicting it, it might happen 😉
cmon Rovers another 3 points at home , up the Rovers !!!!
Lewis I hope they are not 10 times better than Stoke at attacking 😕🙏🤞🤞Be nice to get a win 👍but a draw will do.🤞Keeping everything crossed. COYH 👍🎩
Let's be real. A draw would be a great result. A win? Well we can dream 😊
COYH 🤠 ⚽️
1-0 Luton lost
0-1 Luton
