Yes, Horseshoe is a great 'little' spot for lots and lots of laps. The chairlift lines seem to always be short letting you gets many many runs in. Basically it is all that is left in Ontario for chairlift access that I know of...
@@flyindutchman2022 Yeah I know, I heard about blue :( major bummer. I'm on the Quebec side in the Outaouais obviously but there's still not that much choice for DH, fortune is closest and MSS and MontCalm are ~2hr drive away. There used to be an amazing DH venue at Calabogie peaks just over on the Ontario side ~ 1.5 hrs from here but that got shut down also. It was never busy and had such nice long and loamy DH runs...
If you haven't gone yet Tim I would highly recommend planning a visit. Super easy to travel to and back same day from North bay. If you play your cards right you even get to have dinner at Weber's on the way home! LOL! I think you would really enjoy it.
Scotty was on his Kona Honzo hardtail but this year he is riding a new 2022 Giant Reign and loving the switch to full suspension. The Honzo was a great hardtail for riding at Horseshoe though.
We did this a couple of weeks ago, great place to visit; I found it better the Blue Mountain.
They’ve certainly put in a lot of effort for this season and the operation ran very smoothly.
@@flyindutchman2022 wish we had a facility like that!
When I retire both you and I can invest in the latest 6 seater side by side UTV's and run riders up the escarpment all day every day...hahaha!
@@flyindutchman2022 you bet, maybe even try a jump or two…lol
Great video. May be weird question but what kind of grips do you have on the bike.
thanks for the share, looks like a cool little spot for some quick DH laps...

What kind of bike was Scott using?
