      Then the Shroud of Turin would knock your socks off. Not to mention the archaeology.

    The devils are bombing me with doubts here and there. What if I'm wrong? What if the God I'm worshipping is evil? What if I am being lied to?! In these moments, I remember the first time in my life, my heart, my mind, my soul look straight to God, and I confess to the LORD, not the way I did with priests, confessed straight to the LORD, acknowledged my sins, asked for forgiveness and put my trust in Jesus Christ, and I can feel it, the burden of sin on my body, my soul was gone, disappeared, as if it was never there. That moment do not lie to me, the flesh cried out, the soul cried out, they both seek forgiveness, and they both received, and I know that was true. Now every instincts in my body, my soul tell me God is good, and I must not mess myself up anymore. Old habits and old temptations keeps coming back, but I'm fighting a good fight, for Jesus Christ is with me, God is with me, my guiding light in this darkness, I'm trying my best not to fall again, but even if I do fall, I'll get back up, for God is with me, and I'll never lose sight of my only guiding light in my life, ever. I hope my testimony will help you brothers and sisters in Christ to deal with doubts and use it as a tool to heighten your faith in Christ, our Savior. May the LORD God Almighty be with you, lead you through doubts and temptations, through this darkness, and may Jesus Christ be with you always. Amen.

    Proverbs 14:15 ESV
    The simple believes everything, but the prudent gives thought to his steps.
    Retaining faith in spite of, persevering through, doubt is evidence of the desire of the sincerest "want" to be with God.

    Thanks for the video guys, I absolutely love your stuff ^_^. I've personally always seen a distinction between doubt and questioning. Doubting doesn't seek an answer whereas questioning does. One is unbelief, the other curiosity. You can question in a right heart, but it's impossible to doubt things of God in a right heart. If a skeptic claims that there's a contradiction in Scripture and forces you to read the Bible through their often faulty lens; am I doubting by seeking a resolution the the proposed problem? Obviously it depends on the person and there may be elements of doubt which require repentance, however, praying for help and seeking Christian resources (like you, Apologetics press, Church history & etc) is completely different to the act of doubting. I feel like a lot of the problems people have with this issue can get a lot less thorny if instead of saying "I have doubts" we instead help people to say "I have questions"; because they're not the same thing. God bless ♥.

      I'm a Catholic, I have been saved by God this year. I read the Bible and I felt the Holy Spirit guide me through my readings and whenever I was confused I felt Him guide me to good teachers and revelations.
      I've been blessed in many ways since then. Lately started having questions about;
      my role/call in life as a woman of God,
      why other believers were so hateful/ dismissive of me and my references of the text,
      My own experiences and beliefs,
      listening to some debates online I just saw man's ego and not reflections of Jesus yet they claimed to know
      I understand that this (RUclips comment section)is not the place for this, I just struggle with the complexity of God and the understanding of God's word at times.
      Can I trust my interpretation? Can I trust my experiences?
      How much has been influenced by others and/or myself?
      I trust in God, I have to. He is my strength but the questions circle within.
      The way I see it, it's better to be thinking of God than to not be.

      @@silversilk8438 Thank you :).

      @@leeannk4790 There are going to be differences in interpretation of Scripture because we all exist in a fallen world and our bodies are fallen too. Plus we're limited, we can only comprehend that which we are able to grasp (apart from God intervening of course). When you read the Bible you're likely going to come away with the same understanding for 95% of it that every other Christian who reads the Bible has. That 5% may be the difference between a Protestant, Catholic, Orthodox or a Coptic so it's absolutely serious, but know that the overwhelming majority of Christians share most of their beliefs in common and especially so if they're based on Scripture. However the differences we do have which come from interpretation (no matter how many things we all overwhelmingly agree on) are indeed defining and serious.
      You don't need to be scared about your interpretation of Scripture. The same God that gave you His word is the same One that tells us not to fear (Luke 12:25-26) :). Speaking from experience, if you approach Scripture and Theological topics with humility God will not let you fall into grievous error. Especially so if you are praying that He helps guide you and also for correction. God bless ^_^.

    DOUBT ? I remember that God loved me so much that He sent his Son to die for me. I know he was God because of the evidence that he rose from the dead. That calms my heart and mind down

    Hey we have an avalanche of evidence. Don't forget the archaeology and The Shroud of Turin. I realized the radiocarbon dating was bunk when they found flesh on a dinosaur bone.

    • @midimusicforever
      @midimusicforever 9 месяцев назад

      There is merit to carbon, then how far back it can be used, that can be debated. But the piece that was carbon dated came from the part the shroud would have been hung from, and it turned out to not be of the same fabric as the shroud itself. It has probably been added later as maintenance. If they were to re-do the carbon dating on a piece from the middle of the cloth, they would probably find that the cloth is about 2000 years old. There's just no way that the cloth is a medieval forgery. I don't see how we could make a replica today even.
      I wouldn't trust carbon dating for anything pre-flood though. The method is built on the assumption that the amount of Carbon-14 in the atmosphere is constant (which isn't even quite the case now). We might have had a completely different ecology before the flood, so who knows how much Carbon-14 there were in the atmosphere then.
