The Shooter the spotter the consistency with each shot to a target of that dimension at 4km think it makes you two the best shooters on RUclips. Not to mention the simplicity of how you work incredible !! ... Great job!

Thank you for all that, we enjoy our shooting and yes the team work is key for what we do, without a great spotter I would not accomplish half of what we have. Cheers and all the best.

Two minutes in and I felt a need to stop and thank you. I've had my fill of "slick" shooting vids with drawn out artsy-fartsy intros, amphetamine fueled music tracks and slash/cut rapid fire editing. Half the time I expect a teenager to pop up and try to sell me an energy drink. Shooting vids for adults are getting hard to find. Thanks for not feeding me candy-coated glam.

World record kill shot was 3,540 meters 3,871 yards so it’s 370 meters further and that was accomplished with the aid of a Taccom HQ Prism now that I think of it a 4,010 meter shot is impossible without a prism unless you’re shooting uphill or from a lower position cuz he wouldn’t be able to see the target in the scope the target would be out of the scope picture cuz he’d be aiming at the sky even with the elevation maxed out

Dave L I also would like to see an in-depth series on his reloading process. Getting that kind of consistency as those ranges, he clearly has it put together properly. ES / SD has to be the priority.

Thanks Dave, very happy to get out the 4km, as for reloading, nothing too special, just super consistent on everything, more involved in making rifle shoot and keeping perfect or at least completely consistent form for every shot, not all that easy given the thump that is going on, Cheers and all the best.

For me as an physicist it is still amazing to wait, how long it really takes, until the bullet has reached its destination. Is simply true: Long distance means a long wait !
And also interesting how much Mother Earth has shifted the target during this time of flight.
Go on and go beyond the 5000 metres !

Sweet shooting mate! I enjoyed watching that. That was like +/-10.5 sec bullet flight time........awesome!! And the bullet still dinged that plate pretty good too. What you have available to you there is unbelievably, beautiful countryside, we should all be so lucky. I swear though, I felt like those flies were right here in my living room with me. The area looks a lot like Central California to my eye.......looks very much like South Africa too. Very nice! Only way the average person over here can get to shoot long like that is to go way into the Mojave desert. Talk about hot in summer though, and no shade trees. And just maybe no nice access road to get to the target position at give or take 2.5 - 2.7 miles from the ffp.

@@markandsamafterwork Funny........Been a while since I've caught your videos. Just realized I've already viewed this one. Was thinking to myself "She's such a great spotter"........Then I realized that I had ALREADY made that comment, 5 years ago. "Ahhhhh.....Just over the top. Wow...!!! Like 12 o'clock. I can't imagine how it missed." Love the positive encouragement. What a team......!!! (Consider yourself lucky).

Thanks man, we are normally working in 40 to 45 deg C for a fair bit of summer, so not much fuss here, just tough on barrel cooling, Cheers and all the best.

You and Sam are one of the best Extreme long range shooting teams in the world. Have you ever considered setting up a competition shoot against Jim Spinella (Hill Country Rifle Team) at there FTW Ranch in Texas as you both have had success shooting at extreme long range targets, he commented it would be a lot of fun to shoot with the 4AW team on their RUclips site. If you and Jim ever did set up a competition shoot, I would think there would be plenty of followers willing to donate funds (gofundme.com) for the necessary accommodations, travel expenses and equipment shipping for you and Sam to get out to Texas and back.
