That's wild. So who's liability is it when there's water damage because nobody else could shut it off? First leak or call for service and the utility provider has to be Johnny on the spot, absolutely baffling...
Nice, ill follow you. Just bought my first house and its an old one from the 1800. Its got its on well and a septic tank but man there is so much i dont know or dont understand.
never seen anything more shitty then a solar powered underground watermeter😂😂 Why not just use the old automatic and proven ones? I could understand ones with a lil battery cell you have to change all 3years or something, but solar powered?? Thats just overengineered crap lol
most water meters here are metal and not plastic lids. If you have a plastic lid in your lawn here its your irrigation lines
True, I see metal lids too! plastic ones are uncommon here but it just so happened to be plastic when I decided to record.
Not in Kentucky it's all digital and can't be turned off by the homeowner or me the plumber
😯 Have you ever encountered a house without a main shutoff valve?
That's dangerous though?
@@JKDJackextremely. pipe bursts in the house and you cant shut it off yourself? lets just say you gonn need some good home insurance.
I’m in ky I’ve been able to turn off at every home I’ve ever worked on

What happens if the solar panel is covered?
Free water
@@emrythompson If it's covered it sometime doesnt power on, you'll have to clear the debris and then it will activate
You didint make that key it sold in hardware store across America
I heard "a meter key" but if you heard "i made a key", I totally understand. Still not sure which one he said haha.

Okay cool great. How about yall notify home owners before walking up on properties looking sketchy before someone gets hurt? Mmkay ❤
So you just assume he didn't?

@@bull8392 fr I doubt this dude just walked up and started recording while shutting someone’s water off without notifying them.
