Hands down the best Australian hunting video I’ve seen on RUclips. The footage, pace, story telling, soundtrack is all exceptional. Just fantastic! Thanks for the inspiration to up my game on my next video.
Standard epic production we have all become used to ! Hats off for the time and effort I know this takes, I have waited for the correct time to watch this so it was savoured in the correct environment. Keep em coming boys 🤙🏻
Hats off to you boys. To be able to catch the whole experience of hunting one of the hardest animals to hunt. Someone’s shouting beers for missing that money shot I hope.😉
Fantastic footage, u guys have the best videography of all the channels I watch so well done I’ve missed watching ur hunting vids. My 3rd shoulder reconstruction has failed so am now having to hang up my bow permanently which sux but I still have my rifles👍 Stay safe budd 🤙
Hey mate, hope you're doing ok. Just wanted to say that having a bad shoulder sucks, and have you thought about using a crossbow, i know they're not legal in every state but they are becoming more popular every year....cheers 😀
Fricken awesome as expected Jerry. You just keep getting better mate. Great edit and music score . The capture of the kill shot in slo mo was epic. Your films are always captivating bud. Cheers for sharing. Love the logo title crumble.
Very nicely done. The free range spot & stalk you get to do there has got to be some bloody fantastic. Ans as you know that's some of the best tasting meat on the planet. Is there any particular reason you are using that brand of bow? over another brand? Great hunt and filming
That was the 1st of the red WRX bows from Hoyt an RX1, didnt gel with it like i did with the hoyt RX3 after that, Hoyt are pretty reliable and the carbon rizer felt good in the hand specially in cold weather and now I'm tying a Mathews and shooting it pretty well.
Bowhunt Downunder After about 10 years of using various PSE bows I went to Elite. The Ritual 33 is literally the easiest draw and steadiest bow I believe I've ever shot. Shot my PB ever at the Texas State ASA a few days ago with it. Stripped all the 3-d target stuff off and set it up for hunting. Nothing like a new bow, arrows to get hyped up you know. Not a speed bow at all with heavier hunting arrows but that's ok. I'm nearly 72 years old and can't wait for deer season here in a few weeks. I do some spot/stalk for deer and feral hogs but it's only about 1400 acres of mesquite which is enough land on a good day. I've been at this Archery thing since I was 13 and hope I die in the field with a bow in my hand. Good Luck to you and don't get the bloody virus crap!!!!!
@@timbow50 yeh nice bows have come a long way, definately not all about speed, putting the arrow where it counts is definately the key. Great to hear the passion after so many years. Best of luck this season.
Wow - incredible camera and drone work, editing and music selection. This sets the benchmark for extreme quality hunting films. And the subject matter is fantastic as well. What camera/lens rigs do you fellows use ? Are you using anamorphic or is this done in post? How do you manage so many varied shots while stalking with the bowhunters?
We use a variety of cameras and lens, filming hunts is something we have pretty much always done, well I have for 30 years and Jerry has for 15 or so, so you'd hope we capture the odd piece of decent footage to tell or show how things went down.
Cool hunt. But why are there “management stags” of an introduced & invasive species in Australia? They should be allowed to be hunted year round, no bag limits. They are invasive.
Correct mate. It's a good question mate that no one that could change it in government likely cares about... They should be treated like pigs, goats, foxes, rabbits and cane toads. From the Department of Agriculture Water and Environment website Deer were introduced into Australia from Europe in the 19th century as game animals. Deer are a major emerging pest problem, causing damage both to the natural environment and agricultural businesses. Populations are expanding and deer are invading new areas. Feral deer can have major impacts in parks and reserves by: destroying native vegetation by trampling plants, grazing, and ring-barking young trees fouling waterholes causing soil erosion spreading weeds potentially transmitting diseases such as foot-and-mounth disease. From another conservation site: Additional impacts of deer include facilitating access for introduced predators by creating paths in dense vegetation maintaining elevated populations of wild dogs (which feed on carcasses dumped by hunters) competing with native herbivores trampling sensitive areas (such as alpine bogs, moss beds, wetlands) hindering re-vegetation efforts potentially spreading pathogens affecting agriculture (such as foot and mouth disease) and human health (including Leptospirosis and Cryptosporidium).
@@titaniumquarrion9838 we at the biggest invasive species and fuck up and destroy way more than the deer. Minimal diseases out there from deer, their impact is minimal compared to cattle sheep and horses. See very very few poor or sick deer, only poor ones I have seen all had injuries. Some smart land holders have worked out they can make good coin out of them. Been hunting same county for 20 years yeah they rub trees but only the odd sapling dies they do towel up plenty of introduced weed that humans and livestock spread. I could go on but we all got views and opinions
The land owners here have worked out to use them as a resource, good dollars to be made instead costing to try eradicate the all the deer, the numbers are controlled . Impact on the country side is minimal compared to cattle and humans. So as with anything managed good blood lines help with better return.
