Cutscenes dont look bad. I know they kinda screw up with AC cutscenes nowadays but this one is decent. Not too big on gunplay or camera positioning. Will wait for some patches and on sale. Maybe
Honestly this looks better than I thought it would. I think if the combat would just be slightly better the game would be pretty much perfect. I also hope there will be customisations for Kay, her outfit is pretty damn boring for a scoundrel.

There is nothing better than starting a game by leaving your most valuable possession to a stranger for which you just cold-bloodedly killed 3 people. And then in second minute you are already chased by hired bandits and you kill few more people. Only that such a skilled outlaw does not know what her type of ship is... Good writing if you are in for a pew-pew action.

It's quite obvious it's not her own ship. This gameplay does not seem to be the very start of the game, some kind of cutscene, gameplay or both is missing which shows us how she got the ship. The missing part might also reveal why those bandits are after her like that.
I'm all for critiquing games and other media, but use your brain while doin' it, ya know.
Really looking forward to Star Wars Eclipse and KOTOR Remake.

It's like Half-Life: Blue Shift. The new Jedi game is coming out soon, but the main character can't use the Force because she's not a Jedi!
That's...actually really dumb. So, because there's no Jedi in your face 24/7, it's not Star Wars? You know even during the Golden Age of the Republic, the Jedi weren't literally omnipresent, right? Ordinary people went on with their lives all the time. That's like saying Han, Luke, and Leia ran every mission for the Rebellion, and defeated the Empire with zero help from any non-Force user.
The game is much like AC: Odyssey in a light sci-fi universe. It is good, and I wish it'll bring enough success for future Star Wars games developing in modern style.
Wait until you realize that you need a 3060 RTX in order to get a native 720p and 60 FPS which has the performance of a xbox 360.

@PassiveClick gunslinger protagonist, sci-fi version of dead-eye, getting around the map on a hovering steel "horse", animal companion, completely immersive open world with rural and urban areas, est. . It has all the makings of being a kid friendly version of RDR2. Much like how Simpsons Hit and Run was a kid friendly version of GTA 3.
If anyone thinks this is RDR2 i would personally think that you have never owned a PS2 to see difference between 2024 graphics and this PS2 graphical BS

My opinion:
- Bad writing.
- Bad acting.
- Bad graphics, especially the hair and trees when she opens the door around 1:20
- Boring cover-and-pew-pew Uncharted-style combat.
- It's Ubugsoft, so we know what to expect with the polishing and repetitive gameplay.
I'll pass.

@@v.rocky111 I don't know, it seemed pretty obvious to me that this is not the beginning of the game, and that the author of the gameplay intentionally didn't show the first minutes of gameplay and the full tutorial.
First of all, the first, introductory cutscene of the game would be much, MUCH longer than the one we see in the video, and would establish the plot, main characters, etc. (their names, what is the relationship between them, their personalities, and so on). In the shown cutscene there is no explanation of what's going on, because it is assumed we already know the context behind the story.
Secondly, the combat tutorial is very short, and only shows how to use Kay's special ability, because there is a bigger combat tutorial section earlier in the game.
I give you 99,9% chance of that being the case.
I've terrible taste and the only Star Wars movies I've seen was Episode 3 (for the memes) and the sequels, so I'm probably going to like this yay.

It reminds me of a cross between Mass Effect Andromeda and AC Unity. But the writing is bad. The world design is good, the mechanics seem comfortable. But look, I have Mass Effect and Guardians of the Galaxy, and even Fallen Order. Why would I be interested in this? Who is this game for? It seems too clean and innocent to be a game about "outlaws". Things don't have much impact, it's the same path Andromeda took. I think it even looks a bit like Anthem too, because it's a wasted potential. It lacked a little more boldness. Could Disney have been that heavy-handed?

Ok i seen enough out this video to confirm my pre-order cant wait till August 30th
environment looks nice-not the best. Characters looks really bland. Not the worst but way way dated compared to other triple a games. Even the division (the 1st one) and Farcry 5 seems to have better character model. Much as I love star wars, I will wait a year for this to hit steam and go on a 20 buck sale. Graphics are a 6 to 7 at best. Story I hope makes up for it. Environment graphics does look really good.

Thanks to mk I'll now be ready for those puzzles. I thought it looked tricky but able to see the tutorial and playback the videos... much easier now.
