Reading opponents is such a joy playing mishimas. I always start with seeing what my opponent does when I block a full string and then go from there. A lot of times it's holding back, so I do a db4 or a hellsweep which gives me a lot of room to see their other habits (what do they do to get up? what defensive options do they use on my pokes?).
Having a 13 frame ws launch punish really punishes Hworang in ways most of the cast can’t. That and I don’t think Hworang has a ws launcher of his own that would punish Kaz hellsweep. So Kazuya’s wavedash vortex is not as risky against Hworang as it is against other characters
@@eutimiolongoria4696 hwoarang, just like every other character (except Steve) can Punish blocked hellsweeps with delayed hopkicks, otherwise he can still do crouch cancel b3, u3 (or u4, whichever is the high launcher that's +on block), ub 3 4 or even crouch cancel jfsr if he wants to be stylish. He's got a lot of damaging options against HS so I don't think that's it
Hwoarang has trouble against characters with good keep out tools, one of Hwoarangs best ways to get in is db+3 which is -13 on block, Kazuya will easily launch punish that

Jdcr said it best when you fuzzy duck so much you aren't moving. Use movement and keep out instead to fight Mishimas
