Nitrous, I really dig it! Car was hauling the mail! I’d like to see a more secure bottle mount with bottle either in line with siphon tube down or sideways and rotated with siphon tube angled backwards. I’m not about NOS instructions, but NX points this out with installation instructions. With a full bottle it won’t be bad, but the closer to empty, the angled siphon isn’t in ideal location. Great video, car sounds ridiculous! 😁

I have the most insane respect for Emelia. She has this idea that's completely off the rockers and goes through with it anyway.
Imagine calling Ferrari to ask them whether they would mind building NOS into their car :-).
Not only does she have the plan, she goes through with it and makes it work. As if the car's not fast enough as it is, she builds NOS into it.
I had this idea that because she's just going to keep doing this, in a few decades she'll have built up a level of knowledge and expertise that is going to blow people's mind.
Imagine a young pup [at the time] coming to her and saying 'So, Emelia, I had this idea of [whatever the idea is], what do you think?" And then she'll go "Ha, I did that like... 15 years ago? It's a great idea and quite a bit of fun, but you want to keep in mind [there follows a master class worth of information that leaves the other party speechless].

It's a total gamble anytime she sprays it and just makes me think she must have plans to redo the motor or something and that's why she doesn't care. Who knows
@@DMort22 if the kit is wired and installed properly the amount of nitrous for that displacement will not hurt it. Adding all of 12.25hp per cylinder.
If that's the case the SBE LS1 in my ws6 should have blown up a year ago on a 250 shot. (granted I did more prep work as in lower heat range plugs, my own tune to pull some timing and a wideband to monitor AFR.)
All I build are nitrous cars. Haven't blown up one yet and not for lack of trying. Nitrous get a bad name from piss poor installation 99% of the time.
Stand the bottle upright and mount the brackets to the wall at the back of the trunk. With the bottle sideways the Inertia with the car on full pull will have an effect on N2O spray consistency.

For one thing you’re awesome and I wish my daughter could get some validation and drive from watching your channel but I’ve tried and she has no interest in working on cars. My Need for HP was to add a supercharger on my Silverado . My brother-in-law and I ..we had many convers about it or turbos.. Before my best friend/brotherinlaw died from stage 4 cancer 6 months after he was diagnosed ..I finished it...he never got to drive it....Sorry He never got to ride.. 2008 5.3 450/450 on the dyno...he would have been proud.

A: If the car ever stalls at a stop (bottle open), DO NOT RESTART the car !!!
99% of the time your N2O solenoid is stuck open / not closing all the way, get out & Check.
B: Run A Inline Nitrous filter!!! (Even super tiny debris can stick a solnenoid open.)
at idle there's not enough vacuum to keep the explosion inside the engine!
AKA Nitrous Backfire.. I have blown multiple 3" intake ducts out of the boots & the steal screens out of my open air MAFS on one lean fule backfire.. Had a buddy grenade is entire intake manifold & bowed the hood 4" tring to restart at a stop... Just because he didnt pay att to worrnings about A & B (a remote bottle opener also helps)
C: Put your trigger, on a micro switch, or ?? so it trigers when you floor it.
I did A hidden system on a Mercedes, the rear defrost armed it & the electronic kick down for the trans was the trigger. ;-)

Smaller jet sizes don’t necessarily correlate to like for like additional hp gains. This is because there is a slight cooling effect on the charge that you have to take in to account. With that in mind, your 50 shot might actually be giving you another 70bhp? Similarly, there is a diminishing return with the larger jet sizes. A dyno run will reveal the truth.
With regard to the setup, the hand held button really isn’t ideal. There is no point adding in nitrous if you are not at full throttle and it is possible to unintentionally damage the engine if you forget to come off the button in the heat of the moment. A much better solution is to activate the solenoids via a micro switch mounted on the throttle linkage. That way, unless the pedal is all the way down (ie when you need ALL available power) you won’t be spraying nitrous. Not withstanding the fact that you are making it hard for yourself holding that silly button whilst trying to steer - right at the point you need both hands firmly on the wheel!
Further points to consider; You could fit some AFR sensors and gauges so you can monitor the state of tune, but it can all go wrong too quickly to spot issues on a gauge. Consider wiring up a fuel pressure sensor for the supply to the fuel solenoid and use a latching relay to arm the nitrous solenoid. Why? If the fuel solenoid goes down you would just be spraying nitrous with no additional fuel and melted pistons will soon follow. It would probably be a good idea to think about getting some better solenoids long term. The nos stuff doesn’t have a great reputation, or it certainly didn’t when I was playing with this stuff. Wizard of nos was the place to go for top quality solenoids.
Lastly, don’t be tempted to up the jet sizes too much more… If you want to run more nitrous you need to look at the bottom end. Yes, it has forged internals already, but don’t forget that the ring gaps are currently set too tight for big shots of nitrous. A bigger shot will start forcing induction gasses through the tight ring gap and that is the point on the piston where they start melting first.
Would also be worth taking a plug reading and see how it looks. You might need slightly colder plugs already and it will almost certainly need colder plugs if you are thinking about a going up a jet size given that cylinder pressures will already be up quite a fair amount!

you ordered the 458 spec twin carbon turbos from SP Automotive (Spyros Panopoulos), they have the kit up to 800hp for the 458.
If your engine is built to sustain the extra horsepower, nitrous won’t damage your engine unless you use high amounts consistently
A 100 shot isn't even close to being enough to blow that thing up. I put a 250 shot on a small block ford back in the 80's, car is still being raced and all that's been done are basic refresh. Dingle ball hone, rings and bearings every winter.
